Adamek should be enough for Kassi..

Kassi WAS a good gatekeeper but he isn't anymore..

I quite like Kassi, he was robbed against Arreola and did well against Brezeale but I'm not sure he has enough left to trouble even this version of Adamek...

Seems the only moderately interesting question (and that is way overselling it) is which fighter has gone back the more from their peak. Oh deep joy.

I think Kassi will take it, or get robbed.

Actually both at their peak Adamek would win easily but you know what I mean.

Kassi weighed in at 204 , over 30 lbs. lighter than his last fight over a year ago. I'm thinking Adamek stops him.

Sure I've posted about this before.

Why is Adamek still fighting ? He has had a very good career. He's going to do some serious damage to himself now.

He might need to because I'm not sure Kassi is still capable :D (of damaging Adamek.) Kassi hasn't won a fight since 2013 although tbf his opposition has been good quality.

That is light but he's not a big guy and he might spring a surprise but he will need to stop Adamek because he's not getting a decision...

I think Adamek's abilities are in rapid free fall, and he may have declined enough that Kassi could beat him. Like, Adamek lost to Eric Molina, and Adamek is 1.5 years worse now than he was then. Eric Molina is so bad, Chris Arreola plowed through him in one round. Arreola could not beat Kassi at all, though. It is likely that fighters of Arreola's and Kassi's caliber should be able to beat Adamek if Molina could do it.

I don't think Kassi is noticeably declining over time. I think his opposition just keeps improving, and therefore, their margin of victories over Kassi have kept getting wider. Like I mean... Jarrell Miller beat him worse than Hughie did, Hughie beat him worse than Breazeale did, and Breazeale beat him worse than Arreola didn't. Depending on how much you do or don't overrate Breazeale, the order of those margins of victory might seem correct.

Well don't look at me :D

Having said that, compared to the prospect of Wilder v Stiverne, I'm borderline enthralled by this one. Thankfully even though the fight wouldn't polish, at least Deontay managed to provide some glitter to roll it in.

Kassi is ugly to watch, slick, runs a lot, his punches are not punches at all, it's like he just moves his hand, these punches have 0 power, he punched with his head multiple times like 6/7 times
