I thought it was a delayed reaction to the body shot. Then they started saying it was Conlan's ankle!

Just the way he reacted- a few seconds after the temple shot suggest to me that’s what caused it- have a look if you can rewind see what you think

They're trying to draw out the drama, and give Conlan a chance for another one of those dramatic comebacks, but I don't think tonights gonna be the night for one of them. He's taking an ass whooping here, and Ancajas is destroying him to the body.

Getting a bit shameful there toward the end with Conlan practically begging for help, but thankfully the referee just called a halt to it instead of taking more points from Ancajas who was just too much.

Conlan gutsy as all hell as always, but he was in over his head here.

Toward the end there Jamie was looking for more help. Like trying to call foul on every thing. Even when he went down from head shots. I guess guys will do stuff like that when they're getting desperate as he surely must've been.

They were not wrong about Conlan's toughness, but what a beating he took because of it.

A clear example of a British level fighter jumping straight to world level. A gross mismatch.

I'd like the Charlie Edwards fight for the British title next for Conlan.

As for Ancajas I just hope he fights one of the other champs next year or Carlos Cuadras who I would still rank above him.

Good call from the ref to stop the fight there, I didn't think there was much wrong with the finishing shot, short right hook behind the ear is how i'd describe it, Conlan's mountain just got higher and higher by the round, the knockdown in the 1st was strange , straight away I thought it was a delayed reaction from a right hook from Ancajas, some delay though, after that it was a painful beatdown for Conlan, every shot Ancajas landed seemed to hurt him, I fancied Ancajas to win by body shot beforehand and it was one which Conlan couldn't cope with

Brave effort as expected from Conlan and he did very well to last until the 6th but Ancajas just too skilled and strong

Ancajas was a class above tonight, what a fighter!...Conlan as brave as ever, an absolute warrior

The ref made the right decision, and it was the right timing in my opinion

Don't know if Frampton stops this guy or not, but I'd be mildly surprised if Garcia even manages to win a single round here.
