Good last round from Frampton but he looked suspect again in terms of durability. Seemed to tire but the body shots from Garcia played a part there! I've got Carl by 7/3 possibly 6/4.

Look at Floyd Vs McGregor McGregor had nothing after 5/6 RDS to ripped isn't good for the stamina

Carl getting some stick and rightly so but I deffo gave him 6 rounds there possibly 7 but I'm a big Frampton fan and I'm possibly bias. He landed some sharp hard shots there that would've had most other guys at the weight in bother.

Selby, Warrington, Quigg, LSC etc will all fancy their chances on that showing from Frampton and that might make it easier to make a big fight next because Carl looked very rusty at times in there and shipped some hits too. Been a sh1t year for Frampton in fairness, lost his title in January then all the hassle of changing trainers, promoters, managers etc. At least he made it through but I think he needs to cash out next year, not saying he's on the slide but he's been in some tough fights and is still taking too much punishment at the higher weight. Selby in Belfast or Cardiff, whichever pays best or maybe Warrington at Elland Rd, both winnable fights for him but also losable, at least he gets a good payday from either.

Frampton looked good early , got tired and went into bad habits , which looking at it were all feet related , he went square on , was off balance especielly when he got the knock down ,, Whats behind it , my opinion is PADS , don't get me wrong i'm a firm beliver in lots of pads , but pads should be moving , stand in fornt with your pads open encourging a 4 punch hard combination is great looks good , makes the trainer feel good , boxer can think Yey i nailed it ,, but truth is they may has well hit the bag .

And especielly when the trainer is a bigger man and can absorb the blows , then its a set 4 , trainer moves and another set 3 or 4 ,, except in a fight it don't happen the opponent is moving and does'nt stand still , I watched Frampton and Jamie on pads , Thats where Frampton is learning to square up and lose his footwork , padwork with a smaller guy who is contiually moving , forward , backward and sideward , in out side to side , with jamie calling whats needed from the side is more the way to go ,,,

Suppose lots will disagree , but after 50 odd years of being involved in boxing i believe pads are the best tool available to a trainer , but only if used CORRECTLY

Frampton looked poor tonight, and gassed very badly against a not particularly good opponent. I’ve always said Selby beats him, and am more sure than ever now.
