Here are some of the many reasons why the above is total nonsense.

A. Neither Joshua or Wilder are as wide open or as easy to hit as Foreman and Lyle were... B. Wilder and Joshua have been knocked down a combined total of twice in 59 fights... C. Foreman and Lyle were knocked down twice each in one fight... D. Foreman was knocked down by feather hitting Jimmy Young who Joshua or Wilder would easily destroy. He finished that match with Little Jimmy on unsteady legs and lost the decision... E. Lyle lost to Little Jerry Quarry getting thoroughly out-boxed by the little dude. Little Jerry is a 1 or 2-round job for either Joshua or Wilder... D. Joshua and Wilder are 12-0 in 12 World Heavyweight Championship Fights -- while Foreman and Lyle are 7-5 in 12 World Heavyweight Championship Fights... G. Foreman lost 2 of the 3 fights that he was knocked down in and Lyle lost 2 of the 4 fights where he was floored -- while Joshua and Wilder won the only fights where they got dumped.

H... Wilder isn't smokin' anybody if he get into a ring with Joshua... He's getting smashed unconscious just like he would have had he fought Ortiz.

Could be Tyson Spinks, Wilder has power, but he's about 3 stone lighter than AJ and I can't see those sparrow legs keeping him up once AJ lands, that's my opinion today but it changes often :D

Wilder will knock him out, 2-3 rounds, catch that chin cold. AJ will go down hard and you can count to 50 he still won't be up. Then this delusional little tea party will be over. I really don't like either guy that much, but no fan base deserves more disappointment than these Joshua nuthuggers. Trying to replace the McGregor clan as the biggest disease in fandom. Lower than a snake's ballbag.

i would think joshua being a little more solid, compact, a bit more experienced v top opposition will have the edge and may ko wilder in a middle round. wilder has a lot of talent, speed, power, so this is an exciting matchup! probably the best one out there at heavy right now. is nice to see posters split on who will emerge victorious. i wouldnt be surprised at all to see both hurt ala foreman lyle.

What a delusional hater you are... This has nothing to do with nuthugging... Wilder couldn't even ditch greenie Washington in 2 or 3 rounds and that man had fought NOBODY!!! ... Wilder lost the first 4 rounds looking for an opening for his right hand on a guy who's nearly defenseless, but a fair athlete who roughed Wilder up through 4. When Wilder finally gets in there with a skilled professional like Joshua he'll get ripped.

Yes you’re straight bang in the middle when it comes to
Joshua and wilder! I can’t tell if you prefer one over the other from any of your posts on here

A year ago I would have said Joshua blasts him out in 2-3 rounds. But after watching the last two fights (Wlad and Carlos) that opinion has changed. Especially with Takem. AJ was picking his spots, landing and getting out. Using his feet more. That approach would work against Wilder I feel. Wilder is so dangerous that any opponent needs to be very careful. Neither has the chin to withstand direct right hands, be it a single shot from Wilder, or a combo from AJ. Washington exposed Wilder until he took his foot off the gas, having a more powerful jab and getting out when Wilder swings might be the answer. It only takes one punch to change every prediction.
My current prediction is AJ KO in 4-6 rounds.

Like I said, don't like either that much. Just dislike Joshua and his goof troop of followers more. I'd thoroughly enjoy a double knockout when they fight, 2 baby giraffes flopping on the canvas. I'll gladly pay to see that, and would much rather see that than Wilder win. But I think he will, with that quick first step and straight right hand.

Actually, a double KO and Hearn trouser coughs a little rosebud ringside when he sees AJ rendered unconscious. For that I'd pay double. From then on it will be standard to have a pooper scooper ringside for any big fights.
