JRock vs Ishe

Post by diddy »

Really good fight. Razor close. Have Ishe at +2000 odds. Hoping he can bring it home. Last round coming.

Absolutely LAUGHABLE cards.

Trout had Ishe winning. I had it a draw.

Sounds like it turned out to be more competitive than I would've anticipated. Glad to hear "Crybaby" Smith lost again

So Ishe is a bum?

How old are you?
When you did you become serious fan?

Trying to see if you are just ignorant or stupid.

Good fight actually. Those scorecards were disgusting.

If Williams isn't fighting for a belt next they may as well rematch. It would be a good undercard fight for a showtime card.

Ishe's not a bum but he's no longer a top tier fighter. He's a 39 year old gate keeper, at best, who hadn't fought in well over a year was almost shut out by Lara 3 years ago, and is almost 5 years removed from his defining win over K9. A guy as highly touted as Williams shouldn't have been run so close by Ishe, if Williams is as good as his fans say.

But hey, how dare anyone play down how good the massively over-rated Light Middleweight division is!

If Canelo were Ishe Smith, he'd be 47-4-1
If Ishe Smith were Canelo, he'd be 37-1.

Lara is the fighter type that nullifies Smith's style best.
Better you mention him instead of all the top fighter's Smith has fought close.

8 years from now, someone will be talking about Granados the same way.

ishe smith is a gatekeeper and hes about as good as julian williams. i have seen 8 of ishes losses and didnt think any of the decisions were unfair. although i think you could argue a draw last night.

It's not about fair or unfair you binary idiot.
Once a fight is perceived as close (or not even), anything can happen.

Guys like Smith and Glen Johnson collect losses that would be wins for other fighters.
After it happens a few times, fans/judges don't feel bad piling more bad losses on their records.
What's one more loss when you got 5 already?

All I'm saying is that not blowing away Smith, doesn't mean your are not the goods.

If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle, Ishe has for too long been his own worst enemy by throwing so little and pissing bouts away. He's never been aggressive neough, loses a close one then cries blue murder. He nulifies opponents but gives away rounds in the process. Well done him on runnign the almight Carlos Molina close and the almighty Fernando Guerrero.

I remember wanting him to beat Jacobs but he did bugger all for stretches of the bout, when he let his hands go he gave Jacobs all sorts of problems, but only let them go for 4 rounds.

Even the Vanes fight was 2 years ago! He's not the fighter who gave the likes of the Sechew Powell (another top fight right....) and an on the slide Joel Julio such amazing close bouts.

either way jrock isnt the goods. hes okay but easy to hit, not really that skilled, hard punching, or fast. hes okay. strong but basic. about as good as that polish guy sulecki and ishe.like to see him fight sulecki or maybe lubin.

charlo is the goods though imo. even if he hasnt gotten the big dogs yet i think he hss what it takes. a lot of tools. would uppercut gggs face in.
