I like Briggs as he entertains me and seems a decent enough guy even though he's not playing with a full deck but if he fights Fury then it'll be another prolonged Vitali-esque beat down and I don't really want to see that again. I was genuinely uncomfortable watching Briggs get beat down against Vitali.

If the fight was made today as the OP suggest it would be interesting to see how many rounds Fury could manage given the state of his fitness .
I honestly think he will be a shadow of his former self when and if he actually does come back .

If Briggs was keen on fighting he would have done so. He obviously knows hes a shot fighter so dare not fight to get beat. His best chance is just shouting out anyone who is worth dollars so at least if he gets a fight its worth the money and worth the loss.
