FYI folks, the US Post Office unveiled a Sugar Ray Robinson stamp today. What others boxers on on stamps? I believe Louis and Dempsey are. I have some Ali stamps from foreign countries.

this stamp sucks! It is a black and white pic of him, whatever happened to employing talented artists to portray the subject in all his glory!? Sorry im just an angry artist that could have done this better.

Yes, Sockdollanger, I was expecting more. This is just a standard stock photo of Ray. Not a bad picture of him, but something more could have been done. Still glad to see him on a stamp, though.

Eddie Eagan (1990) he was also a bobsledder & won Gold medals in both winter ad summer games.

Note: When they had the unveiling of his stamp at the Rocky Maricano Gym in Jersey City, New Jersey, I was the MC. I was asked to be the MC by his brother Lou who was part owner of the gym.
