Judging on his last performance, you have to say Valdez.
It's more of a question of how much Carl still has left in the tank & if he can raise his game once again - to excel at the top level.

It's a tough question to answer & for the first time I am starting to doubt him.

At his best, I'm with you on that. But he really needs to get back to it.

I thought he looked excellent in short bursts against Garcia but he faded yet again and Garcia really slowed him down with his body work. Carl was feeling them shots. In saying that, some of the shots he landed on Garcia would hurt Valdez IMO. Garcia looked like a fuckin lightweight in the ring!

I wasn't as impressed with Valdes in his last outing. Thought he looked a little crude and one dimensional.

I've been a fan for a wee while but I thought his last performance was as poor as I've seen him

At his best, Frampton beats him

no frampton isnt stopping valdez

look at garcia recently losing and getting put on his ass twice by an 11-6 guy. look at him being totally shutout by jo diaz.the 'garcia a huge guy who absorbed unreal shots' stuff is just wishful thinking.unfortunately carl struggled with a guy who just aint that good.

if frampton beat valdez it would be a close decision.

I fancy Valdez to use his size to bully Frampton and get a close Points decision.

Hate to say it, but Frampton is on the slide.

Valdez looks like he can be dropped easily. questionable chin.. Hasn't been tested.. But I think Frampton goes the distance with him.

The thing that strikes me is that Garcia was a very good opponent and pushed Frampton all the way. I've see far worse challengers boxing for world titles, so as international 10 rounders go, Frampton v Garcia was top drawer. I wouldn't be surprised if they'd have brought a patsy over to face Carl and he blew them away, a lot more people would be raving about Frampton.

I'd say Frampton could go in with Valdez next and win (assuming we're talking March 2018 or there abouts).

Think some are over rating Garcia and under rating Servania. Garcia was schooled by Diaz and easily beaten by a well past his best Hasegawa. Frampton may have over looked him, but let's not pretend his some sensational and unheralded Mexican talent
