Tony Conquest Comeback

Post by Taansend »

After 2 years out The Conqueror returns in Essex. I enjoyed watching him fight. He looked fantastic one bout then would get blown out the next. Never a dull moment.

I remember when he blew out Leon Williams who had won the Briitish title against Rob Norton then lost it in a wild battle with Blockhead McPhilbin.

I always enjoy watching fighters who are n that good going at British or Area level titles. It means so much to them.

Conquest looked sharp enough, but the Lithuanian chap was tailor made for him to get some shots off and have a workout; it will be interesting to see how much he has when he fights a live opponent. Maybe Area title next? I think Wadi Camacho holds it...
