Eddie Hearn offers to manage Tyson Fury

Post by Ruthless-RKO »

Eddie Hearn says he would be interested in managing Tyson Fury and the promoter believes he can deliver "the biggest fight in British boxing history" against Anthony Joshua in 2018.

Hearn confirmed that he has spoken with the former unified heavyweight world champion and has offered his help to the 29-year-old.

"I've spoken to him," Hearn exclusively told Sky Sports. "I think he needs some help in terms of a team, it's a process that is complicated.

"He needs the right advice, he wants to box on the biggest shows, be a box office fighter and fight AJ, I can deliver all those things.

"More importantly, not thinking about his next promotional move, it's more about getting him back in the ring, he has a lot on his plate.

"I understand he is a free agent. I don't know the ins and outs of that but certainly, if he was we would be very interested in working with Tyson Fury.

"We can give him the biggest heavyweight fights and ultimately work towards the biggest fight in British boxing history."

Be surprised if it ever goes beyond just 'talks'

You never know though, this is boxing....

But as I said I'll be very surprised , Tyson John & Peter have all had issues with Eddie in the past & will all be well aware that Hearn is thinking of the dough here 💷

So can't see Tyson working with Eddie

Does hearn even have a managers licence? He's always said he's a promoter only. If tyson get licence back and stays in training he'll have huge offers from Hearn and Warren. It's about time he looked after himself and signed with 1 of the 2 and forgets the loyalty to Hennesay.

Tyson/Peter will be thinking about cash as well - AJ/Fury does incredible cash at PPV - nobody could get near what that would make on Sky PPV.

You don’t need to like someone to work with them for your benefit as well.

Obviously Hearn is only offering so he can move the pieces towards the Blockbuster payday of Fury vs. AJ, but nothing wrong with that. I'm guessing that Fury wants that huge money fight himself & Tyson is going to make more money boxing on Sky than his Uncle's dodgy YouTube stream.

Hearn might be able to talk Tyson into getting off his arse & putting the hours into training to actually make this happen, plus he certainly has the contacts to make this drug hearing disappear.

Hearn is looking to cover his bases , Aj will have to meet Wilder sooner or later, and to be honest i think with his wild unorthodox style Wilder will land the big one first and i just can't see AJ getting up , Alls Fury has to do is get fit , get in shape , have a warm up or two and demand a 50 -50 split with AJ it will happen , because peronaly i think they would fancy there chances against Fury more than Wilder ,, Fury has been dropped by lighter punchers than AJ , Klitcko did'nt go for Fury, Aj will ... Eddie well he just wants to hedge his bets

If the question is 'should Fury be with Hearn' then the answer is yes. Of course he should. He's got one proper payday and it's with a Hearn fighter.

Hennessy is a nice guy but a shocking promoter. If YouTube really was the way to go you'd have Canelo and Joshua on it. Instead it's Hughie and Pink Tyson.

Yea, could never see him working with Hearn

The furys are very prideful men

As someone said above you don't need to like someone to do business with him , that's very true , but when it comes to the furys & Hearn they wouldlnt go back on there words in the past & get involved with him

Fury-AJ makes big bucks whoever furys with 💷

Needs the Sky PPV and build up for the most cash - BT/allegedly just couldn’t do it similar.

Actually think him signing with MTK makes it easier - they negotiate with Matchroom on his behalf.

AJ v TF is on Sky PPV regardless who is managing Fury or it just doesn’t happen.
I currently don’t think it’s going to happen anyway.
