Potential Mayweather vs Khan for 2018

Post by imaioral »

It is being said that Mayweather is training like crazy for a potential bout vs Amir Khan in 2018, who is more than 18 months fighting after a brutal KO took by Alvarez.

* With this bout and if winning, Mayweather stay 51-0 like Ricardo Lopez.

What do you think about this potential 2018 bout?

Floyd is retired, I was always interested in this fight. I think Khan would have a great chance. Floyd is clearly diminished. His grit and intelligence could still get it done.

Never going to happen.

Unlike the Macgregor fight there will be no massive social media support for the fight that gets the promoters on board with it.

Unlike McGregor, Khan isn't a guaranteed win.

No fight is a guaranteed win... Cuz when a fist hits a chin, funny things can happen... an opponent can be laying at your feet and you don't even remember hitting him that good until you see the replay.. Anything can happen in an exchange of punches.. Floyd got hit real good a few times by Judah, Mosley, Corley, and Maidana.. They wouldn't or couldn't follow up well so he's been lucky.

I do believe that you make your own luck... But some guys almost seem to have been born under a lucky star -- and Floyd is one of them.
