That’s a brilliantly simple comment BB. I’m not sure if you had even been born when the Smith-Spoon fight took place, so you probably have no clue about the possible reasons that Spoon got blown out that night, but to even imply that he would try to avoid a Tyson fight is naive. An in shape Spoon would have presented a good test for Tyson. He had a very good jab, good power, a solid chin and decent stamina – when he trained. His biggest problem, as is the case with many modern HWs, was a lack of focus.
