The Amir Mansour vs Fred Kassi Fight is Misrepresented Here
The Amir Mansour vs Fred Kassi Fight is Misrepresented Here
I just read something that disturbed me. Boxrec has not published the judges’ scorecards of the Mansour-Kassi fight and the contest is misrepresented on Boxrec’s “Encyclopaedia” page as follows “Mansour appeared totally confused, and got stung a number of times by Kassi’s hard counters. In addition, Kassi succeeded in slipping Mansour’s wild power shots which had evil intent. Kassi had no problem taking the fight to the inside with Mansour and counterpunching during inside heated even exchanges, Finally, Mansour swaw an opening with Kassi on the ropes. A Mansour right hook pitched kassi face first to the canvas”
Mansour DIDN’T appear at all confused... Kassi DID NOT slip Mansour’s skilled (not wild) punches well... Mansour carried the fight... forced the action... won all the rounds... threw more punches... connected with more punches... and the exchanges were NOT even; Mansour dominated them... The KO DIDN’T come with a counter right hook as the Encyclopaedia page states. Kassi was standing straight up on the ropes. He poked out a weak right as he switched stances to southpaw leaving himself wide open. He got caught with a sweeping overhand left that he attempted but failed to duck under. A brutal right hook to the point of the chin followed knocking him out cold... It wasn’t that Kassi fought horribly. He simply lacked the skills to compete well with a Heavyweight of Mansour’s caliber. If you listen to the commentators on youtube, you realize they all had Mansour winning big—and what appears on the Encyclopaedia page (along with no scorecards being published to represent what actually happened) does not reflect reality.

For God's sake don't tell Kalan how he can edit what win down in Boxing matches. Next thing you know he'll have Vitali listed as the true winner over Lennox Lewis, and he'll be commenting that Tommy Hearns got destroyed by Iran Barkley completely ignoring the fact that Hearns had beaten the sh*t out of Barkley up until the KO.

I'm quite confident Kalan would never write anything like that in the boxing matches part, so suggesting it, especially while beïng a moderator is just plain silly. It's pretty much like saying we shouldn't teach you how to fornicate, because you might rape a bunch of children as soon as you know it.gilgamesh wrote: ↑28 Nov 2017, 09:26What of it? Given your use...and misspelling of one of these terms. I'm not sure you even know what they mean
I merely point out that he has some highly questionable opinions, and shouldn't be taken all that seriously when it comes to Boxing matters.
