Conor McGregor “Dublin Brawl”
Re: Conor McGregor “Dublin Brawl”
If they all plot up in LA they should be safe enough, but then how many pals would he leave behind?
Was Conor really out of order? Or is it like you can't touch any of these guys, even if they deserve it?
From a quick google I saw that Gerald Kavanagh, one of Kinahans enforcers, got ironed out and there doesn't seem to be a come back there?

Re: Conor McGregor “Dublin Brawl”
Conor has upset some dangerous people...
Hes a fantastic fighter & showman, but out on the pavement there is certain people you can't "give hidings" too
Conor is game as a pebble though & fairplay to him for showing no fear, but Conor is in the business of MMA, not the business of serious violence out on the roads & it seems he's brought unwanted attention to himself & his family now
There's no morals a lot of the time when it comes to villains wanting to "get even"

Re: Conor McGregor “Dublin Brawl”
PS I think in this modern world ‘gangsters’ are a lot less fearsome than they used to be due to a number of factors. Even the New York mafia are overrated these days - John Gotti, one of the most powerful, still got a hiding in jail.
Re: Conor McGregor “Dublin Brawl”
Depends on what level you are talking about . If you are talking about lemons up & down being dumb doing silly things & drawing attention to themselves all the time, and who couldlnt organise a proper coup to save their lives, then you are rightboxingknockout wrote: ↑28 Nov 2017, 18:34 PS I think in this modern world ‘gangsters’ are a lot less fearsome than they used to be due to a number of factors. But there is still some firms about who if on your case you are f*cked, the mafia doesn't have the same clout no, but that's America not here, plus there are other gangs in them parts that are just as dangerous now as the mafia was then , and as for uk/ire there is a few firms about who still Carry the same weight they carried years ago
Re: Conor McGregor “Dublin Brawl”
What are the odds this is a pre-planned and paid for marketing ploy? Probably worth the £900,000, business-wise.

Re: Conor McGregor “Dublin Brawl”
I understand. But to imagine a bunch of low life, poorly organised violent gangsters from Ireland can touch a global superstar with 10s of millions of dollars and lives in America is a little far fetched.Oiky wrote: ↑28 Nov 2017, 18:43Depends on what level you are talking about . I’m not saying they ‘couldnt’ in theory.... but in reality - really!?!?! Why would some gangsters from Ireland whack a global superstar and Irish National hero because he beat up a connected guy? Really? These gangsters are going to risk their entire business, have massive police investigation, get nicked, get hated by all of Ireland, and bring severe heat.... just because a guy that lives in Los Angeles and no longer has much to do with Ireland beat up the wrong guy.... really? Be serious.... villains lean on people who are part of the criminal community, outlaws who owe them money. Not global superstars who live abroad
Re: Conor McGregor “Dublin Brawl”
The Kinahans aren't poorly organised. Yeah if McGregor goes to ground in la course he's going to be safe... and course they aren't going to bring it on top for themselves by shooting McGregor or his family .... where did I say that ? You reckon modern gangsters arent as dangerous and I said there is still some firms about you wouldn't want trouble with in general, not that this firm are suddenly going to top McGregor and his kin ...boxingknockout wrote: ↑28 Nov 2017, 18:51I understand. But if you think they won't put a threat out to try & get money out of the McGregors then that's a bit naive, he's a global superstar not his family, who all live local, they can all go to ground v quick but in their eyes it's worth a shot at getting some money isn't it...

Oh mate let me be clear - I wasn’t referring to your posts specifically. And you’re right - it doesn’t mean they are impotent nor able to lean on People in Ireland. My point is that they’re not some kind of untouchable supermen. (I know you never implied this.)Oiky wrote: ↑28 Nov 2017, 19:08The Kinahans aren't poorly organised. Then McG is not as smart as I have previously given him credit for. However, I am not convinced of your odds.

Good on Connor
All these gangsters are nothing but cowards, bullies and plastic hardmen.
Threatening to shoot Connor is proof of that. Surely if they were real men they'd settle it with their fists rather than hiding behind guns? Oh wait, they just tried that and Connor beat them to a pulp.

Best thing any person who has made a fortune should do is keep quiet about it. When that's impossible, and it often is, they should move away from where they came from. Take their loved ones and leave. Jealousy, bitterness and hostility from those who knew you poor is stressful and tiring.

Can't see it guys
Re: Conor McGregor “Dublin Brawl”
These guys he’s fûcking with are worth far more than him. From what I’ve heard he thinks he’s the hardest man in Ireland! Off his tits on coke issuing death threats etc. Beat up an old man and a skinny druggy.boxingknockout wrote: ↑28 Nov 2017, 18:51I understand. He’s a fuckin moron.
Re: Conor McGregor “Dublin Brawl”
Agree 100%. I knew a guy who won the lottery. He bought into Celtic and lost millions then bought a local dive pub and tried to make it a nightclub, got on the C and started shagging whores. He’s in a two bed council flat now with depression and a Valium habit. Wanted to be the king of his village.Sklar wrote: ↑29 Nov 2017, 02:47 Best thing any person who has made a fortune should do is keep quiet about it. And I was thinking that he was the hardest man in the world!
Apparently he repeatedly punched a kid and a 50 yr old man but no injuries resulted from this!!
