Looks like the fight is done. Official announcement in the next couple of weeks.

The date looks like 24th or 31st March 2018 and is expected to take place 02 Arena.

Never rated Parker but if Parker is still there at halfway things could get interesting as AJ ain't got the best engine

i expect aj to beat the crap out of him. even if aj gasses jp not a puncher at top level and will still be getting ht due to his defensve openngs. even though joe beat carlos carlos has more 'craft' to survive and get to the late rounds where ajs energy drops. and of course aj has that second wind. but that wont matter because ajs gonna be landng hard from start.

Surely it'll be at a big stadium, not the 02?

Not if they do it in the Millennium again, although can’t see them doing it twice in a row tbh.

I'd be surprised if they used Cardiff again straight away as the organisation just wasn't there.

Also had a lot of chairs taped off (was fine for me as it meant nobody in front of me and somewhere to stretch!)

it would sell out again for a unification involving AJ, no problem imo.
Its the only place that is big enough to host it in unpredictable weather, Wembley in the summer and back to the Millennium in November/December I reckon...

Parker is made for Joshua. Not a good test but it's a belt, I suppose. Done inside of three, maybe one because Parker is game and will put himself in harms way from the off.

Enough of an engine to survive a massive barrage by Wlad to come back and stop him. And whilst the Takam stoppage was poor Joshua was chucking as much at him at the end as he was in the early rounds.

Joshua isn't perfect but there aren't any really obvious faults. He's going to absolutely destroy Parker who is bang average.

According to Eddie the fight is unlikely to be a football stadium as clubs dont want the pitches to be ruined at that time of the football year.

Other than the O2 it looks the only other venue could be Twickenham.

I agree with you that Parker is average but il have to disagree with you about Joshua's engine. I think Wlad let him off the hook when they fought, he had him going and didn't do enough. If he gets some of that weight off his engine might improve. I dont think Parker is good enough to still be around to test out for himself about AJ engines but if he is it makes the fight a lot closer

Casuals will bank on AJ to win but experts at boxing like myself and others such as Tyson Fury know Parker is the real deal.
When you getting a deal with sky?

Parker lost to fat Ruiz lol, he couldn't even hurt Hughie Fury

The only experts at Sky are away from the cameras briefing Froch and co on who's who.

I can't see past Joshua for this, Parker hasn't shown anything that makes me believe he's a threat.

There seem to be a certain section of fight fans desperate to see AJ lose, we should enjoy having the HW world champion even if he is just keeping the belts warm for Fury...

I think people should die on their sword. When AJ smashes him in two rounds, he'll still be calling himself an expert

But Wlad had the capacity to seriously hurt him, and indeed did seriously hurt him. Parker just doesn't seem to have that.

Doubt Parker will be able to hurt AJ

His best chance is going for a points win, and if he can take AJ in the later rounds he has more of a chance of doing
