Gonna dangle a carrot here...

Is Jackson sure he wouldn't rather have a shot at Nino's Light Middleweight Title?

Nino will also offer a Light Middlweight Title shot rematch to Floyd Mayweather Jr.

In case it hasn't become obvious. He'll be dropping his IBO Title. So that's now vacant.

Though Nino would like to let it be known that he'd be more than willing to defend BOTH titles in separate bouts. It's not his fault the commission is too hung up to allow him to be a fighting Double Champion. He's more than capable.

Nino becomes the 2nd member of the BrainTrust stable to have never been beaten for the IBO Title in the ring :OhYes:

Charley Burley accepts the challenge.

Tommy Hearns calls for a rematch of last week's draw with Bernard Hopkins.

Possibly it is near enough the last good time to do Ketchel - Robinson III so we are calling for that too.

Floyd is happy to reclaim the belt, and if Nino wishes to spare himself the beating, he can just hand it over.

Floyd vs Nino 2 is a go then, and no we shan't be handing over the belt to the man we took it from in the first place.

He can't, Lara is the CPU Champion and is not available to fight this week, as he has to defend his belt against a fellow CPU.

As things stand, BoxBuzz must choose between one of these four fighters to defend against this week:

4 Mickey Walker
5 Thomas Hearns
14 Freddie Steele
15 Archie Moore

Failure to defend against an eligible challenger can and may lead to title strippages.
