Year end p4p list FUTURE

Post by Jip »

Judging the current p4p list is to easy, i will predict future as always.

Loma is gonne win, but both are on another league, just better than GGG or crawford. Inoue has the talent to be part of the god level league but he fights nobody.

By 31 december this is how the p4p top 20 will look like.

1. Lomachenko
2. Rigondeaux
3. Crawford
4. GGG
5. Inoue
6. Spence
7. Wangek
8. Canelo
9. Thurman
10. Usyk

11. Estrada
12. Gonzales
13. Mikey
14. LSC
15. Gvozdyk
16. Joshua
17. Jacobs
18. Bertebiev
19. Charlo
20. Eubank

You think that the loser of the Lomachenko vs Rigondeaux is still gonna manage to be #2 P4P?

You lost right there

Even if it's Fight of the Year, and they both look great, and one of them wins (a highly unlikely scenario that the first 2 parts of this equation occur). They're not gonna be #1 and #2 P4P on anybody's list. The winner may well be #1, but the other one won't be in the Top 5 anymore.

Rigo and Loma won’t be 1 and 2. The winner will be in the convo for 1 though I guess.

Roman Gonzalez still at #12 at the end of 2017?

No room in the 20 for Frampton or Kovalev?

Which Charlo?

Roman still very good. But maybe lower.

Frampton is good. 20-25 is okay for him. Would favour bertebiev and gvozdyk over him if they fought right now.

The stronger one, who got more ko's, who s at middleweight.

The way the P4P list works is clear losses usually affect you big time. That last loss has bumped Roman Gonzalez from the Top 20. Probably from the Top 30. You're swimming with sharks when you're on the P4P list, and if you ain't winning, you ain't P4P.

Eubank doesn't deserve to be on that list.

In 11 days is the mega fight between the 2 best boxer in the world.

We will see if my year end prediction p4p list is any good or not.

One thing for sure kovalev is back in the top 10. He looked as good as ever. Effortless power like one said correctly.

Crawford now at ww and with the bigger guys who punch harder than him and are equaly if notmore athletic i think 2018 will be his downfall. Thurman, soence & brook tko crawford. But as good as tc is i might be totaly false.

We will see.....

They'll feed Horn to Crawford first for him to "test the waters" at WW.

I think Crawford beats Thurman imo. I see nothing that special in Thurman.

Spence probably breaks Crawford down and ends him late.

Thurman has 0 specials. He doesnt have valero kind of power or grj kind of speed.

But he is complet. Good power.good footwork.good technique.good combos.good finisher.good stamina.

Complet strong proven boxer

Just trying to figure out why Frampton is looked at so unfavorably compared to LSC. It's not like he lost twice to LSC or even got outclassed and dominated. He won one and lost one to LSC

Why isn't Sullivan Barrera on your list? Didn't beating ward do anything for him?

Good question.

Look. To be honest. Lh is so fool of great boxer. I realy have a hard time saying who the top 2 boxer are or rating them in p4p. They all top 20 material, some 10 material.

Bertebiev is a destroyer. Can hurt anybody. Gvozdyk is tall got good reach, good technique and can ko anybody with either hand, is in his prime. Kovalev the same, strong ko puncher with arguably the best rec in boxing. Adonis very athletic, good agility and can ko fools as well.

I mean, they all top elite light heavyweight. This is a class. Than there is b+ like barrera, alvarez and jack.

If i had to choose.

1. Gvozdyk
2. Kovalev
3. Bertebiev
4. Stevenson
5. Barrera

and ward in a fair fight with fair judges and a fair ref who deducts points or dqs when to much illegal is happening is happening losses against all 5. Thats how good lh is right now. The division never looked better.

Back in the 90s

1. Jones
2. Michalchewski
3. Bum
4. Bum
5. Bum

All 5 from Today would beat the second best lh in the late 90s. And even roy would have some trouble with these big timer puncher.

I think Spence has the ability to be no 1 P4P if he gets the fights he wants which as we know will be hard Thurman only fights once a year.Who can he fight to raise his profile and ranking.

Yeah Crawford v Spence is easily the best fight at welterweight.
