WHO WINS? Anthony Joshua vs. Jarrell Miller
There are several options being held as backups to Parker - including a rematch with Dillian Whyte or a fight with undefeated Jarrell Miller.
"We may look at a WBA mandatory, Dillian Whyte or going to the States to fight Jarrell Miller," Hearn said. - http://www.BS.com/anthony-josh ... rn--122927
Could Hearn take AJ over to Madison Square Garden in March and fight New Yorker Jarrell Miller?
Put Danny Jacobs in as co-main, to build his profile alongside AJ, versus say an Andy Lee to bring out the Irish crowd?
If the fight was made today who wins?

I doubt any New Yorkers care about Big Baby. Or Jacobs!

AJ stoppage win via referee intervention whilst Miller is standing. lol
Sorry. The AJ-Takam ended annoyed me a little.
AJ has enough to see off Miller. Might take a few rounds .. might just be a standing stoppage.
Joshua has enough to floor Miller.

True. Hearns first show didn't draw big numbers.
But I have to think AJ in MSG would pull a decent amount of Britsh fans over.
Add Miller and Jacobs to pull the New York fans they do have.
Then throw say an Andy Lee and a Katie Taylor into the mix to draw the Irish fans out.
I think it makes for a big night at MSG to enhance AJs legacy and open him up to the US market in prep for the Wilder fight.
Also helps cement Hearns and Matchroom USAs foot hold in New York...

If you said many instead of any, you'd be right, percentage wise at least.
Even though boxing interest in the US has dropped precipitously, there are still may boxing fans in the NY area.

Re: WHO WINS? Anthony Joshua vs. Jarrell Miller
Honestly I would have preferred to see Joshua fight Miller first before taking on Parker to try unify the division.
Not saying I have doubts in Joshua's ability to do so, but to see him get another crowd behind him and test the waters in America before eventually facing Wilder; Potentially in America as well.
Comparing their boxing ability I'd say Joshua is well above Miller In basic boxing ability and movement, even his experience against top level opposition is growing by the fight now and he can definitely handle the bigger occasions; Miller on the other hand, could he really step up and fight on a huge stage and for three of the five biggest belts in boxing.
Power wise, Miller has knockout power, no doubt about it. But the question remains could he use that power well with someone not only bigger but who could out-box and out manoeuvre him.
Right now, my guess would be a Joshua KO/TKO win by the middle rounds, latest would be a 10th round stoppage win for AJ.

Quickest way to fight AJ is to become his mandatory.
He makes that much money, the other corner is irrelevant unless it’s a superfight.
Makes sense just fighting the mandatorys and getting longevity at the top like Wlad.

That's just the pitfalls when you want all the belts.PredatorHayds wrote: ↑21 Feb 2018, 12:54 Quickest way to fight AJ is to become his mandatory.

Unless he has improved immeasurably, Miller will get hammered. IMHO.

Miller is the perfect fatted hog to feed to AJ.
Miller will gobble down jabs and right hands until he can't any more.
Unless he can get more defensive, like Parker did, it isn't going to go well for him.

Miller would gas out by the 8th round.
At the world class level, it's hard to be effective for 12 rounds when you're waddling around at nearly 300 lbs.....unless you're over 7' tall.

Seems like a mismatch, I've seen Miller once and that was enough.

I have to ask, "which way?" (I'm assuming Miller favor)Riddick Blowe wrote: ↑07 Apr 2018, 14:06 Seems like a mismatch, I've seen Miller once and that was enough.

Sorry, I've been posting back and forth between here and Miller/Dohoupas. Of course you'd favor Joshua.Riddick Blowe wrote: ↑07 Apr 2018, 14:30Lol, why would I favour Miller.oogiebe wrote: ↑07 Apr 2018, 14:09I have to ask, "which way?" Re: WHO WINS? Anthony Joshua vs. Jarrell Miller
Miller was offered Whyte for a career high payday last year and he turned it down. It would have been a decent fight IMO.
Signing to fight Joshua will just be a paycheck for him and the fans lose out.
