Mozart's dad was a musician and rather keen to promote his son. A lad in my metalwork class had a father who was a welder, his projects often seemed to miraculously improve from one lesson to another.

When someone asked another poster earlier "Have you read the book then?" I assume that they meant the book Bounce, The Myth of Talent?
Its a good book and certainly gets you thinking, worth a read for anyone who finds fit to be an interesting subject. The book does also mention`musicians and sportsmen/women who were classed to be child prodigies. Mozart, Tiger Woods, The Williams Sisters.
