I do not think that it will be dull, and I do not think that Lemieux or BJS get the respect they deserve for their skill levels. Lemieux has worked hard to improve and he is not the same all or gas fighter that he once was. BJS, although he is a despicable person, has high level skill and seems to fight to the level of competition.

This will be an interesting match.

If Saunders wins this he could really be turning around his awful title reign.

Never understood the "make your opponent out to be a chump" mindset.

So if Blow Job wins, what does it matter? He's only beat an 8 round fighter.

Same here. Happened with Fury Klitschko as well. After the Jennings fight Wlad was old, slow, reluctant to throw the right and well past his best. Fury lands seven shots a round against an old, slow, reluctant to throw the right and well past his best Wlad and suddenly he's the heavyweight Mayweather.

Coverage starts at 2am on BTSports2.
Ric Flairs 30 for 30 is on just before it from 12.30am, if anyone hasn't seen it...

That's good news. I finish work at 9pm (Eastern U.S.) so should be able to see the main event.

I can't wait to see this fight. Saunders is away from home and has to produce the goods with no excuses whatsoever. Whatever happens, we learn more about both guys.
I believe (as said before) that Saunders produces to the standard of his opposition ; I think he's destined to under perform, but again, would like my thoughts to be proven wrong.
Boxer's careers are a story to me, I've no obsession with the undefeated BS.

A succession of non-fan-friendly wins wouldn't surprise me. The art of boxing is often overlooked in this day of gleaming records and highlight reels.

I like both fighters. I'm leaning 60/40 in favour of Lemieux. If Billy is fresh by the halfway stage he wins but if Lemieux catches him early on he could be on for a beating.

dont know how one can think saunders has little chance. hes obviously a more skilled boxer and lem has plenty of flaws. figure 60-40 saunders even away from home first time.

Oh, I make BJS a huge favourite - I think we will see the best Billy-Joe we've seen. I was just asking to see if there was anyone on here that makes Lemieux a massive favourite.

Bill going to show Lemieux some slick boxing, and beat him with it :TU:

Whoever you are, you don't want to be getting caught clean by Lemieux, but Lemieux can be outboxed easily and that's what bill is gonna do

dont really see bjs as a huge fav either though . i mean when has he shown he should be regarded as levels and levels above, and when on the road? like i said so many fights he just only gets by. i thought he lost to akakov though he wasnt close to peak there.

close decision im thinking for bjs

Hopefully it will have a strong undercard. This is Lemieux's big chance at redemption all these years after Rubio and Alcine.

It will be huge in Canada, and I would be surprised if BJS's compensation is not potentially seven figures.
For your Info, it's going to be at Place Bell in Laval. It's a 10,000 seats arena.

Still, Lemieux will win by KO around 10th round.

:TU: I stand corrected. 10,000 is not too shabby. I figured Lemieux could do more though.

Tough fight to call. I would like to see the Canadian win but I think that BJS can outbox him,.

Not sure. He may be one of the remnant separatists. I like Quebec but I do very little business in that province, which is a fairly precise definition of provincial.
