Not likely to happen though unless they pay him. Very clever from yigit either way!davie wrote: ↑02 Dec 2017, 19:46Comfortably, I'd thinkThereByTheGrace wrote: ↑02 Dec 2017, 19:43 Good performance by yigit. If he could bang hed be right in the mix as he can box. Would expect taylor to beat him

Yeah he's no match for Taylor man! He'll get smacked about!handsofstone wrote: ↑02 Dec 2017, 19:55 Really good tussle that, I had Yigit a comfortable 118-112 winner but it was a lot more competitive than that , there is a lot of fighters who are reliant on one hand but no more so than Hughes who really has a disadvantage with his shorter and less mobile right hand, he makes up for it though with an iron will and granite chin, he really digs they left hooks into the body and he has a decent jab too when he uses it, he works tirelessly and makes his opponents work for their openings
Yigit just had that little bit more class though to get the last say in most rounds and had the better punch variety which proved key, he improved as the fight went on, showed excitement by trying to get Hughes out of there as well, he's a tidy southpaw with grit but Taylor will dismantle him in 5 rounds

Clever from Yigit, hes just got the CH5 exposure and now hes threatening to move down.
Barry best get that cheque book out, fighting for a vacant European Title wouldn't have as much appeal...

Re: Anthony Yigit vs Joe Hughes
Taylor still has a lot to learn he looked a bit silly at times in his last fight. If yigit doesnt happen go for a few easy fights then go for burns. He would beat him but would be closer than many think

Fairplay to joe hughes, and clever performance from yigit
Re: Anthony Yigit vs Joe Hughes
Joe Hughes is a tough lad and a credit to the sport. Took a lot of punishment those last few rounds though.
Yigit looked decent though. I'd still like to see Taylor fight him. Yigit is better than anyone Taylor has fought.

Re: Anthony Yigit vs Joe Hughes
Yigit better than Vazquez? Don't think so tbh. I think Taylor will have an easier time against Yigit than he did against Vazquez. Looks as if it'll be happening next so we'll find out soon enough.

Davies is no good.Stuarty30 wrote: ↑03 Dec 2017, 11:22I'd also fancy Davies against Yigit as well.
I've been saying this since that Scarpa fight a year ago. Very careful matchmaking for him now he would only fight Yigit if a world title was on the line.
Re: Anthony Yigit vs Joe Hughes
He's decent. Definitely has some talent there to work with. There's a few guys out there domestically at 140 that wouldn't fancy it with him.
Does make a lot of silly mistakes though.
Re: Anthony Yigit vs Joe Hughes
davies has some talent but very raw. looked wank against taylor. hes no better than jts 3rd toughest fight after vasquez and that guy taylor fought in the us.maybe even 4th as he really did no better than the south african.
not like yigit is great though so you couldnt write davies off.but lot of ppl did talk him up as better than he was.
