The Curious Case of Kanat Islam

Post by Taansend »

Just one of those things that tickled me.

There's a Chinese born boxer who is of Kazak ancestry who fought at the 2004 Olympics. He's currently 25(20)-0 & ranked in the top five of several alphabet groups.

But he lives in Pahokee, Florida :oo I've driven through Pahokee several times & it's a very weird place. It's a mainly black town (it's produced an incredible amount of American football players) of about 5,000. Local employment means working in the sugar cane fields, which has to be one of the worst jobs ever. Any white people there are retirees from up north who live in trailers around Lake Okeechobee. There's nothing there. One of two shops & a shite bar.

It's about a 40 minute drive from West Palm Beach where millionaires & billionaires reside but it might as well be on another planet.

Why would he end up there? I've heard he trains in Miami but that's a couple of hours drive away.

It's all very strange.

Good research mate
Sounds very odd indeed. Good record though and rated #11
He fight Kell Brook......
However I hear Brook is fighting CEDRIC VITU!!!!

Islam needs more exposure and needs to stop training in the cotton fields Ha ha

Kanat met Janey in Nam and moved to her home town. Kinda likes it there, despite the fact that it is a turdpit

Yeah. I'm originally from London. I've driven around that area plenty of times. I have this weird thing we're I'll look at a map, find a road I've never driven on then go meandering.
