Hate this fight without Haye having a warm-up first.
No-way he gets through a long stand-alone camp for Bellew.
Training camp on the back of a knock over job could do the trick.

I know he doesn’t spar with Joyce because his body can’t keep up with the pace.
If his body is struggling in sparring I can’t see the rematch happening.
Like Joyce. Apparently he’s as 100% in sparring as he is in fights. Must be great for AJ having sparring like that on tap. (Sorry about the tangent, but pretty sure there was a Haye thread above this).

Don’t worry about it, there’s another 10 threads to discuss the Haye fight anyway.PredatorHayds wrote: ↑06 Dec 2017, 08:47 I know he doesn’t spar with Joyce because his body can’t keep up with the pace.

would not being able to keep up with Joyce maybe be an admission he cant hang with AJ if he does end up beating Bellew?PredatorHayds wrote: ↑06 Dec 2017, 08:47 I know he doesn’t spar with Joyce because his body can’t keep up with the pace.

Can you explain why you need to start a thread when there's already an existing thread in place?wesshaw1985 wrote: ↑06 Dec 2017, 09:03"He's only just gone and copied another one of my threads.."Taansend wrote: ↑06 Dec 2017, 07:42For f*cks sake WesRuthless-RKO wrote: ↑06 Dec 2017, 07:37 He's only just gone and copied another one of my threads..

Do you honestly give Haye a chance v AJ? He would take the fight and give it all the gab that he could beat him but really he would just be doing it for the ££££ - he doesn't get paid to spar Joyce so would make sense avoiding it with his injury prone body.

AJ can be hit and Haye hits hard, harder than Dillian Whyte.xerz00 wrote: ↑06 Dec 2017, 09:29 Do you honestly give Haye a chance v AJ? I give Haye more than a chance, IF fully fit...
Re: Tony Bellew vs. David Haye 2 - May 5th 2018
I don't disagree, I just don't think we will ever see a fully fit Haye again hence why I wouldn't give him a chance v AJwesshaw1985 wrote: ↑06 Dec 2017, 09:38AJ can be hit and Haye hits hard, harder than Dillian Whyte.xerz00 wrote: ↑06 Dec 2017, 09:29 Do you honestly give Haye a chance v AJ? Id love to see the old Haye Vs current Joshua..
Old Haye is gone though and this come back has been a farce
2 years
2 pub bouncers
2 new injuries
a loss to Tony Bellew...
Haye may very well annihilate Tony in the rematch but a potential fight with Joshua seems to be moving further away rather than getting closer..

All that stuff is actually making me consider, that Haye won't be able to regain the condition, in which he could have won Bellew. So, I give some real chances to Bellew in the rematch.Pukka Cheese wrote: ↑06 Dec 2017, 11:09 2 years

if Haye beats Bellew in May I would not be surprised if he got the Joshua fight in December. Due to the number of casual eyeballs Haye draws he will always be in with a shout of the Joshua fight...Pukka Cheese wrote: ↑06 Dec 2017, 11:09 Id love to see the old Haye Vs current Joshua..

Re: Tony Bellew vs. David Haye 2 - May 5th 2018
Would Hearn / Sky take the risk of another Haye dropout and another late replacement on a Joshua PPV?
I'm not so sure...
Can Haye prove himself by beating Bellew and then a legit top 10 with no big injuries in in 2018?
Not so sure about that either...
Would love to see it though.

Re: Tony Bellew vs. David Haye 2 - May 5th 2018
5th May seem ridiculous for an injury that only need 2-3 weeks rehab. Bellew also won't have fought for 14 months...is he semi retired? Why not march

Bellew is just chasing paydays now, he won a world title at cruiser in his hometown which was the peak of his ambitions/capabilities so he'll retire happy soon enough, in the meantime he's looking to top up his pension fund. Haye has hardly been active in the past 14 months either! Will anyone be surprised if this doesn't happen though?

They're at the discretion of mods. In the case of multiple threads, the usual approach is to sink all but the most popular. Posters can still contribute to those threads, but they no longer move to the top of the forum after each new post.
The thing that gets some people's backs up is your insistence on creating a thread for every possible fight, when most of the time we're already talking about those potential match-ups in an active thread. Bellew's currently down to fight Haye, so this is where most of us come right now to talk about either man's potential career paths. If I wanted to talk about Bellew versus Fury or Haye versus Joshua, I'd do so here. Many of us get invested in back-and-forths and find a new thread about the same thing a bit like cutting a pub in half.
I don't look for a specific Joshua-versus thread if I feel like writing about him, I just look for the most recent Joshua thread and comment in there. The time for official threads is when the fights are about to happen IMO. I think it's premature to list every possible permutation, especially when the vast majority are never realised.
Stick to announced fights and you'll be fine. Or you could dedicate threads to boxers individually. Dereck Chisora, for example, and all Del-versus-whoever chat could go in there until official opponents were announced.

The reason I tend to make a new thread when a potential fight is mentioned is because I am genuinely interested in who the forum favour for each fight whether they happen or not...

I like everything neat and tidy but the forum has been taken over by stolen news article titled threads whereas I would have posted those same threads within a thread under the title of the potential fight they are referring to.
Its gotten awfully messy, I'm sure it will work itself out

You couldn't do polls that way, but you could start a Chisora-versus-X-who-wins post within his thread.
I get where you're coming from, but a lot of your threads seem inspired by potential fights you've seen others talking about elsewhere, so the new thread feels like it's fragmenting that discussion and forcing those guys across the road. The trick is to get in before anyone else thinks of A-versus-B as plausible so that no-one's put out, else create those general threads for individuals and pose your questions in there.
We love talking about who-wins-what-and-how on here, so it's not the nature of your threads, just that chat about the same boxers can be spread too thinly when you create a thread for each specific fight. It's a shame that polls can't be added to posts.
