Kinda wondering if we'll see Yarde have a stamina test here...or if the 39 year old just won't have the legs for it

Yarde will do more work than he has had to of late that's for sure

I like yarde, but that guy was really a blown up middle, still a decent enough test. Yarde has decent skills, fast hands end good jab, and obviously very decent power. One to watch without a doubt.

Yarde has scary power. Was under a bit of pressure a few times but he didn't panic to be fair to him. Shipped a few silly shots that might be a bit of an issue when he's in with a puncher if he doesn't sort that out.

Looked good again Yarde. Can’t stand that weird handshake thing he’s got going on with his corner though. Needs to drop that bollocks out
Re: Round-by-Round: DeGale vs. Truax / Selby v Ramirez - 9 December 2017
Yarde's power made that irrelevant in the end, but it was a good learning fight for him. He's learned he's open to a right hand in the heat of battle and got away with it so it's done him good.Boxing Prospect wrote: ↑09 Dec 2017, 16:31 Kinda wondering if we'll see Yarde have a stamina test here...or if the 39 year old just won't have the legs for it

The guy never had the power to hurt Yarde- be interesting when he fights a bigger puncher at the weight

Don’t know really mate just see it as a bit muggy to be honest. Probably says more about me than him haha. I actually like him as a fighter and in his interviews but that carry on Grates on mejamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑09 Dec 2017, 16:41Why does it bother you?smiling assassin wrote: ↑09 Dec 2017, 16:37 Looked good again Yarde. Yarde looks as special a prospect as I've seen in a while...
When was the last time you thought this (British) guy could be an exciting, elite P4P fighter ?
As with any prospect, the next fight could have you jumping off the bandwagon sharpish, but right now I'm dreaming of him beating Kova, Beterbiev, Bivol in 3 years time...

If Ramirez can't dominate the start then he's lost, given his weight problems.

The bloke's lightest weight was 167 & his heaviest 196. Hardly a blown up Middle.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑09 Dec 2017, 16:36 I like yarde, but that guy was really a blown up middle, still a decent enough test.
