Very unfortunate.

Kenichi Ogawa didn't look convinced he won after the final bell.

I didn't see the whole bout, but I saw it from about Round 6 onward, and Tevin won at least 6 of those last 7 rounds.

Lots pro Farmer commentary in what was a close fight. Apparently Spanish commentary favoured Ogawa heavily . Interesting that all 3 judges and the ref were Americans

I'm not so sure, and I'm a guy that heavily favours agression. I only seen the last 7 or 8 rounds (was watching the other card) but to me every round was similar, the crude ogawa seemed to have limited success in spots. Farmer moved slipped and countered with far more effect that what Ogawa was doing.

Punchstats weren’t close. And neither was the fight. Farmer outboxed him clearly. Won 8 rounds. Minimum.

I think Farmer won the last 4 rounds clear.

Close fight . 115-113 Ogawa.

Tevin Farmer just did not do enough. The Sky team don't know what they are saying. Ogawa had fought much better opponents than Farmer, the Sky Team just did not understand the names.

Neither fighter is really great. Farmer only had one real dominant round (the 5th) most other rounds he landed 2 or 3 ok shots.
Ogawa pressed forward the whole fight, landed virtually zero body shots but plenty of head shots which the judges favoured.

Adam Smith and Spencer Oliver should resign. Oliver gave Farmer 10 or 11 rounds. That was the crazy scorecard it was a close fight the 2nd, 8th, 9th and 12th were all close rounds. 116-112 either way is within bounds.

Watch the fight again without the biased commentary.

i think graham housten had it for ogawa too and is suggesting commentary cheerleading? ill try to watch this.just in general one thing sky and hbo do often is start with a narrative and stick to it even if action isnt in line with it.but that doesnt necesarly mean commentary is always wrong

Exactly right. What a crock of shit. Unbelievable bullshit to score that fight for Ogawa. Wow.

Sky commentary was definitely cheerleading, I still think Farmer won. Just no way possible Ogawa won 7 rounds.

They had it in their heads that Farmer would win.
