Truax was a real throwback reminded me of Iran Barkley. Well done that man!

Barkley without much aggression - didn't need it , just plod forward to a sitting duck on the ropes

DeGale said at end of fight that he thought he won it , has he gone mad. Buncey said he just gave it to DeGale , he must be the only one in the arena. At least allegedly called it right and tried to warn DeGale of the impending result.

Change a few things? Squeaky voice Jim? Who’s Al Haymon’s man at ringside on his phone at the end? He wants out of there......

Chunky is done. Too much of a good time in Ibiza and sounds punch drunk....

He was rubbish.

Truax is poor. Eddie will be all over him
With fielding and Ryder now

Truax will beat him inside the distance in a rematch.

Is truax even any good ?

Didn't look great to me and didn't need to be .

Looks like a rugged plodder of a fighter that'll lose the title in the not too distant future .

no in the us they use him for their pbc guys to beat up in stay busy fights.dirrell stopped him in 1. jacobs won every round before stopping him. faded jermain taylor in a comeback fight got dropped but won every other round vs truax over ten.

his best win was over don george. he drew with fellow gatekeeper ossie duran and thats his level.

I wasn't really shocked, considering his last fight was a war at times and he suffered some nasty injuries, then had the shoulder surgery and inactivity, add all that to the fact he is lazy in fights and just does enough to win, then on top of that he maybe was complacent about the fight last night, assuming it was his welcome back to allegedly warm up for bigger things to come type of fight then for me it all pointed to a very tough night.

Degale was always a defeat waiting to happen.

He nicks fights that he should be breezing. When he won the title he ended up looking the one who if over 15 would lose.

He always starts well, racks up a few then coasts and ends up in tough places. Last night it sounds was just the same only this time, it was before halfway that truax started taking rounds.

Just said the same in another thread, he could have got DQ'd or cut even if he was winning the fight, absolutely crazy that they didn't put the rematch clause in and if they did it to save money then that gamble backfired big time!

Degale was utter pish. Terrible showing from him.

Jimmy Mac will be shown the door. Tough lad Degale, but getting beaten up by the likes of Truax is not what he should b about.

Badou juiced up Jack beat something out of Degale, that much is evident.

He let’s himself get bullied into the ropes and throws no jab to speak off. Awful showing

The evidence was clear to see. Degale has lost whatever he had.

Wasn’t Jack working with Angel Heredia.......

I imagine he would beat Truax in any rematch, but the fact remains that Truax isn't going to be the title holder by the time Degale gets his next shot. For me this means that Degale is not going to be a world champ again as he is seriously on the slide.

DeGale looked completely out of sorts from the off last night. Really strange performance. Hardly put any combos together and there was nothing behind the single shots that he was flicking out. Footwork was poor, punch resistance looks non existent as well. he was shook up a few times.

Well happy for Truax though. Love seeing guys like that get some success. Nobody gave him a chance last night. I was a bit pissed off at DeGales poor choice of opponent prior to the fight as well! Seems a pretty cool guy so good luck to him :TU:
