I know in Dan Evans case, either UKAD or ITF (whoever dealt with case) explicitly said Cocaine was no performance enhancing. He was still facing 2 years but got 1 year cos he said his failure was due to putting his bag of coke in a wash bag next to his prescription!!!

Wiggins didn't break any rules but he's been hung out to dry regardless. There is no comparison to Armstrong and the EPO era.Jackson328 wrote: ↑08 Dec 2017, 17:02I think the BW saga is a bit dodgy too, hardly on the scale of Armstrong though! Takes this long just for a HEARING.
Yetsporting royalty Brad Wiggins gets given a free pass even though; we all know he’s just a shite Lance.

Give the man a break he’s the biggest character in the sport
Re: Tyson Fury UKAD Hearing Starts Monday, Facing 4 Year Ban
He's got a case to answer regardless.
Re: Tyson Fury UKAD Hearing Starts Monday, Facing 4 Year Ban
Still got to prove why he had a failed test for nandrolone, failed tests for cocaine and then missed other tests whilst licenced.
Re: Tyson Fury UKAD Hearing Starts Monday, Facing 4 Year Ban
There is no way he is not getting banned for that. As I've mentioned it's a 2 year ban.

This explains the process of the hearing.
The decision is sent out within 15 working days of the hearing finishing. Which in this case will drag to early part of the new year.
Then the athletes have 21 days to appeal.
After the 21 days is up the case file is made public.
So we should know by the end of January.
If nothing has been announced then they have been banned and are appealing.

Well he only has himself to blame really.Naandrew wrote: ↑09 Dec 2017, 04:48Refused a test. Big difference to missing one.

Id like to see why they were taking nandrolone aswell. I don't buy that they eat a whole wild boar every week.

Oh right, well then, seeing as he's a big character, I guess we should just waive the rules that apply to other less characterful fighters.
He has changes to answer, and it appears he's chosen not to turn up - so nobody to blame but himself really.
Re: Tyson Fury UKAD Hearing Starts Monday, Facing 4 Year Ban
Neither side turned up, very very odd case.

Fvcking jokers.
Re: Tyson Fury UKAD Hearing Starts Monday, Facing 4 Year Ban
Who gives a sh*t about what UKAD say or do they are a joke
Re: Tyson Fury UKAD Hearing Starts Monday, Facing 4 Year Ban
You say that about UKAD. What has Fury done since he beat Wlad? He's absolutely humiliated himself and appears intent on carrying on doing so.
I know you'll defend Fury at every step. Every opponent would lose against him. Every daft thing on Twitter is a harmless gag. But surely even his biggest fans must be looking at the guy and wondering what on earth he's playing at. He could be in perfect shape, turning up to this to clear his name. Instead he's a big fat bastard not even bothered to show his face.

Tyson was training as usual today and Hearn spoke to Peter Fury lastnight about Hughie fighting in April.
Maybe they know something we don't...

So you are 100% sure he had to be there today? Surely he will be found guilty in his absence if he simply didn't turn up. When is the sentencing?dirk2686 wrote: ↑11 Dec 2017, 16:41You say that about UKAD. What has Fury done since he beat Wlad? Let's hear the full story before you go blaming Tyson.
Doesn't look like anybody turned up for the hearing today, so let's wait and see before going on the attack...

He was taking medication to help with breathing difficulties related to allergies...samwbr wrote: ↑08 Dec 2017, 17:32Wiggins didn't break any rules but he's been hung out to dry regardless. Because professional cyclists especially at his level are prone to breathing difficulties. Nothing remotely dodgy about any aspect of his medications, be they the exemptions or team clerical errors.
Re: Tyson Fury UKAD Hearing Starts Monday, Facing 4 Year Ban
Peter Fury tweeted yesterday he was in London with Hughie and Mick finalising business on the ukad case. Strange that neither party turned up and Tyson wasn't even in London. Let's be honest, no one knows jack shit whats gone on or what's going on in this situation. It's been shroud in secrecy throughout. It's a farce from both parties.
