I don't really see how his hand would be broke, and there ain't much time for him left to pick up paychecks of any significance in the fight game so he better get after it soon.
For me the hand is what ever....Loma totally dominated him and if fight continued Rigo was probably going to get KO'd , his legs where buckling the round before, It was too much Loma, anyways the main point here is Rigo is at least 37 and can probably still beat some people, but he has to be busy and fight until he gets beat physically bad and retire. It's all about getting as much money as he can so he can retire in a little house in Florida. and supplement his income with his next job.
If you make enough money in Boxing you can easily live off your income very well and take a lot of vacations all over the world for the rest of your life... You don't need another job... If you can put away 3 million and make 5% on your investments - which is super easy to do if you have a good financial adviser... That's 150,000 a year minimum on your savings... That sounds like you're broke to a lot of people... but you can do well on that if you just do a little planning and don't get married 3 times.

Many athletes have 10 or 15 million or more and they're practically broke after 10 years because of their spending habits... Why do you need 15 cars and 3 houses?? Why do you need to lend suck-ass friends money?? Why do you need all that jewelry and 100 different suits that you never wear??

People tend to spoil themselves rotten and not pay any attention to their finances... That's why they're broke and need to fight until they're 42 or 45 years old -- and after they know they've been hurt... If they put some of that money away every year they could live very well on their money's money... Top boxers make really good money... What's really sad is somebody who fought for paydays in the millions - and you see them fighting some 3rd rater for 5,000 dollars so he can make the mortgage payment on a house that's been refinanced 4 times.

I seriously doubt Rigo has made much money, in boxing so far. I think the Donaire or Loma fight was probably his biggest earner just a guess. So he has to be busy and get more of these purses.

It will be tough for him to make money from here on out. He has stunk the joint out now in both his biggest win and biggest loss, and I doubt any major TV outlets will be anxious to give him another chance.

I think it would be great to see him back down at 122 against Rey Vargas, but I just don't see it happening.

What’s next for Rigo? First he needs to prove his hand was broken to the public, then if he can do that he needs to start taking calcium supplements because it seems he broke his hand on air. Then he needs to focus on what he’s good at in life...quitting. He quit growing at a young age, he quit drinking milk, he quit Cuba and he quit fighting the other night, that’s his talent.

Well, it's been over 4.5 years since he's gotten any particularly good wins, he's 37, he just took a stoppage loss, and he just received one of his best paydays. I think retirement may come pretty soon.

From what I can tell his purse was $400,000 for the fight after every takes there cut from him I don't think that is enough to retire on..He will fight again..

He's gotta move back down, but that being said I think he could still beat other top fighters in that weight class loma is just a bit too special. He defo needs to put that performance right and fast or risk ruining a decent legacy

It isn't broken. It is bruised.
