Anybody bothering with Katie Taylor tomorrow night?

Post by ILikeBeer »

I dunno whether I can be bothered or not. It's on Sky Sports Mix, which means I can get it for free, despite not having Sky Sports at all.

Part of me wants to get a few beers in for it, but I've just had a fortnight off work to drink beer and watch snooker. (And eat a lot of takeway.)

I know it's Christmas, blah blah blah. But I really have drank far too much over the past few weeks. I'm getting heartburn just thinking about it.

Going out drinking on Friday too. Maybe just watch it without the beer. Or just one or two....

What was my original point? Oh yeah, anybody watching the Katie Taylor fight tomorrow?

It'll get recorded and I'll watch it later on if it sounds like it's been a decent card.

If its on sky sports mix which is free with the entertainment package i will try to watch Conor Benn fight, however Masterchef and The Apprentice come first on this occasion.

In from work via Aldi for beer and the bookies. Stick the Horn v Corcoran fight on then watch this card. Decent enough card especially for a midweek.

I'll probably be asleep for Horn then at work for Taylor. I'll also miss West Hams annual spanking by Arsenal.

I'll be watching anyway...

Cracking little card imo

More live boxing the better as I don't watch soaps . I honestly think soaps cause some people to be depressed

More Boxing on the TV the better.

York Hall is always cracking atmosphere - crowd feels right on top of the ring as well.

Get to see few Olympians with Okolie/Córdina etc - particularly looking forward to Josh Kelly again as well.

The Horn fight is PPV for me, and I'm not paying. So Taylor it is. The undercard looks better than the Horn one :maybe:
We will be starved of boxing for 6-8 weeks anyway, do might as well savor the last fights of the year.
Ward, Cordina, and G Yafai- should be good.

Might save it for next week, when The World's Strongest Man starts on Channel 5.

Yes, my life is super cool.

No, I don't have anything better to do.

I do like a bit of World's Strongest Man at Christmas.

"The next event is the Truck Pull."
"What do they do have to do in this event, Lou?"
"Errr, well. Pull a Truck...."
"Any strategy on the best way to win this event?"
"Well, you, erm. Pull the Truck. As far as you can....."
"Thanks for your insight, Lou....."

It's taken me 90 minutes to do a supposed 17 minute journey on Southern Rail. Missed the first hour. I am having that beer...
