What is this a reference to? Did he say something of the sort?

I mean sex sells, so yes being physically attractive is going to help one be popular in basically any field of Entertainment. Music, Athletics, Acting...whatever.

But I've definitely seen ugly prizefighters do well in the sport.

If DeGale continues to take beatings like he has done in recent fights, he’s going to end up a lot uglier than Groves ever was.

George is pretty good looking actually. Degale is losing teeth in every fight.

Degale think he's got model good looks or something? Groves is no uglier than him, and he wouldn't have lost to Truax either. Even on a sh*tty day.

Rocky Fielding beats Degale on that showing
