Kalan, there was a time when I found Ortiz exciting as a potential candidate for a belt. But now I would need reconvincing. I feel father time may have got to him. Too old and too inactive.

It's not a vintage era but we have three belt holders (all undefeated) and an undefeated former champion waiting in the wings. Any combination of these chaps could create decent, competitive fights, and isn't that what we all want to see?

But now we have Joshua, Wilder, Povetkin and a whole new generation of heavyweights coming up.

Anthony Joshua is the top man right now. He fights regularly and beat the previous top man. The great thing is that he still trying to learn and improve. If he does he will remain on top for as long as he wants to. A modern day Joe Louis no less.

His only serious rival right now might be Deontay Wilder, but that's a fight for later.
