If not the best the most entertaining for sure... a true warrior. The Sylvester fights were great.

You’re 6’2 and could make featherweight ? :o
I’m 6’1 and was 140 when I was 18, but couldn’t have got lower than that.
Now I’m about 178 but could probably make 168 if I trained.

I'd be in the Overweight division. My style would be to run backwards at speed, clinch like an octopus when cornered, all the while looking for a nice soft piece of canvas to lie down on.

Thats now but I like to think I'd have made a decent Middleweight back in the day. I once finished off a heavy-bag as a viable piece of gym equipment, although to be fair it was probably close to falling apart anytime anyway. Once I put my fist through a sturdy cardboard box I'd thrown up in mid-air and a work colleague who was an England youth international name of Steve Hutchings, Hutchens something like that, seemed genuine when expressing his shock and awe. He might have been taking the piss but I don't think so - damn fine actor if he was.

Also I can claim a pretty good jab that proved effective in the schoolyard and a few streetfights.

I was a pretty keen Judo player in my youth but I always wish I'd taken up boxing as well or instead.

I am 180 cm, 186 cm wingspan and 77-78 kilo, decent shape, some visible sixpack too :D Still some fat on belly so no problem cut to 75 kg middleweight division. Ive had many boxing trainings, but just very few real sparrings and no fight. Ive feeled very uncomfortable at long distance, middle and short distance was better. I like going to the body. I am a bit slow, especially on feet, but upper body movement is solid. I can fight in orthodox and in southpaw, too bad my left hand is weak, so southpaw fighting is ineffective for me :D BTW interesting topic :box: :box: :box:

i'm 6'0 (183cm) and 196lbs (89kg) so i am a Cruiserweight (not surprising as it's the most competitive weight in my place) and i am not a puncher, but quite speed, i could outpoint some ''bums'' or ''tomato cans'' :OhYes: :box:
i am right handed but i think i could switch to southpaw quite effectively

i could make LHW though (HW too but i dont wanna be a blown up HW :OhYes: )

I'm 5'7 and had I taken up boxing as a young man I'd likely have been an amateur Bantamweight and professional Featherweight (that's just a guess). Instead, nowadays I'm a fair bit softer and denser than that. Certainly not at "fighting weight" or even close.

I did some boxing training in my mid 20s and though I didn't progress beyond light sparring I guess I've got a decent handle on what my style would have been had I pursued it more seriously. FWIW I reckon I'd have been a kind of pocket counter-puncher, meaty if somewhat predictable jab, good power in both hands and especially with a short left hook, somewhat slow, OK engine, not great balance, vulnerable to speed, high volume and being forced to lead. Ideally I'd have kept in my pocket a secondary style as a forcefully aggressive hard-hookin' swarmer in the Joe Frazier mold if the counter-punching wasn't working but I never really developed that while I was there and I have no idea if I had the chin for it anyway.

If I lost weight I'd probably be a natural 175 pounder or could probably even be at 168.
My style would be running around the ring, launching a youtube account where I show my "skills" by beating a punching bag really fast, and paying of Vegas refs to get decisions. I'd retire undefeated and challange Ali for "best ever". Also I would own a siberian tiger and drive a bugatti. :bag: :bag: :bag:

I'm 5'9" and around 140-145 lbs. I guess I'd probably fight at Lightweight and, given that I do a lot of long distance running my style would be a back-pedalling one until I got caught and sparked out...

5'9 at a solid 140 lbs. I have a natural athletic build, around a 71 inch reach and 31 years old. I might be better suited at 135 but would be healthier at 140. I don't like the idea of getting punched in the head for a living. During the short time I did spar and train in my teens I had a lot of natural talent, decently fast hands and respectable power.

Boxing isn't for everyone though. It makes me appreciate and respect the sport alot more when experiencing aspects of the sport.

I'm 6 feet tall and weigh in around 180 lbs. I'm athletically built, aggressive southpaw. I have excellent stamina (I have run two half-marathons not so long ago) and throw about 100 punches in 30 seconds when I'm working on a heavy bag. I have good power, strength and handspeed, decent refexes and good offensive arsenal, but my footwork is bad. I can't box effectively at all while moving backwards.

I weigh 205 pounds, so I would be a heavyweight. I got fat. I have to lose weight. I used to be 135. I'm only 5'5". I would get my a$$ kicked.
