I find the prospect of that match up distinctly underwhelming

hes not ranked with the WBO and I'm not sure he brings much cash to the table to entice Saunders into a future fight.
More chance of him facing the winner of Spike and Douglas...

Your right about the money, Andre would struggle to tempt either into a fight. Plus there are so many options for both the winner and loser of this fight that Andre in my mind, dosent figure into it. Both Saunders and Lemieux have fairly decent promotional backing, good enough to land high level future fights if they won or lose.

You reckon? Matchroom are a decades long highly profitable business. Quite savvy I'd say whatever you think of the ethics of it.

just so you fellas know. Ive had it from source in the BJS camp that his ringwalk will be NO EARLIER than 0325 UK time. So, anytime after that really, depending on supporting bout stoppages/points decisions etc.

if bjs was really as good as boxer as some think he wouldve still beaten that russian no problem. bjs is good boxer, but at 2nd tier. even monroe 'no punches' prob still managed to win like 4 rounds. bjs not a schooler at this level at all.
He we go mate. Wrong.

yep, wrong in that he made lemieux look utterly useless when i thought it would be closer. but i have loads of posts on here dating months back saying i think bjs probably wins. you on the other hand cant show any post where ive said that i thought lem would lose.

We’re not arguing that. We’re arguing that you rated Lemieux but now you’ve flipped and discredit Golovkin for it.

my view of lem dropped only so much as it should for a totally one sided loss to a guy who was previously viewn as being around the same level. ive always thought lem was solid but no better than second tier, being levels below jacobs, charlo, andrade, lara, eubank , etc. i did think this fight would be closer but still that bjs better.

lem is still a top 15 fighter and can win vs the likes of murata, spike, etc. hes solid. but its really weak sauce for a supposed atg that hes one of the best names theyve beaten. ggg doesnt have a much better record than bjs imo, but no one acts like bjs is a living legend like they do with ggg.

i want bjs to beat golovkin and i think he can if hes taking it this seriously.

Fair enough I don’t want to keep arguing. I don’t think sander can beat ggg even now as an old man. He’ll win rounds and make a difficult fight but Golovkin won’t be wildly swinging which is what Lemieux the bull eyes closed swinger is. You called the right person with sanders you weren’t wrong with that. I said sanders would school him. I was right too.

Golovkin will take it seriously, could be a great fight. He busted Lemiuex up easily and will give Saunders way more to deal with.

Just watched the fight. BJS was brilliant, a different league to Lemieux. I'm seriously impressed. I think BJS has found the right team in Sheffield.

Billy joe really turned it on last night. Looked very impressive. Think he is taking the game very seriously under his new team which is great to see. The middleweight division is the most exciting at the minute and there are some massive fights out there to be made, I’d like to see him in with Jacobs next. Can’t see it happening though with Jacobs being with matchroom

Quality from BJS. Hit without being hit is the name of the game, not always exciting but goes to show someone with good boxing ability can make a world class opponent look very average. Hope BHS keeps this up, would love to see him vs GGG

Ain't it a bad do when you can barely land a clean punch.....

Lemeiux hits like a train, but what ever good is that if you can't land

Daniel Jacobs would get the same treatment from Bill imo, Jacobs is a much better boxer but I think he'll beat him, he'll have a much harder time of it, but he'll beat him :TU:
