Getting dumped by Edward H....

Post by horndawg80 »

How many boxers has Eddie dumped?
1) John Wayne Hibbert
2) Audley

Anymore???

He’s definitely a born liar.... he promised Ricky Summers he would be back on Sky but he’s not been seen. I don’t think he’s too keen on West Midlands boxers to be honest (Welborn smashed Morrison never to be seen, Craig Cunningham & Ricky)

Don't think Audley was ever signed to Matchroom, just they "managed" him for that one fight. A bit like saying DeGale is with Warren now.

All the midlands lads u mention were never signed to matchroom. They were away fighters. In the case of summers his boxed once since and their hasn't been a midlands show by matchroom since the buglinio fight. I guess when their is Hearn will use summers.

I believe he was on a fight by fight deal not a long term contract. Bcb boxing (midlands promotional company ) r promoting his next fight.

Craig Cunningham should have been retained for dispatching Ogogo. He’s good value. It annoys me how hard some boxers have it just trying to make it in the game. You should always be rewarded for success. If you beat the home fighter, the promoter should get you a fight, give something back to the grassroots boxers.. He could be another like Eggington who pushes on with a bit of backing, you just never know

I don’t mind Eddie but he’s a liar. Makes out as though he’s doing everything in the best interests of people.... he’s out for himself and he seems to get rattled when people mention Joshua is leaving him.

Anymore? Hibbert cos he got iced by Gethin? Ryder because?

What happened to Jono Carroll? Did he ever have him?

Cunningham was well schooled recently in Manchester against some African. He's gonna have to have a big rebuild.

Ryder was unlucky with both Arnfield and Fielding defeat (I thought he did enough to nick both).

Good win for him last time out though, who is he with nowadays?

The authority’s would never let them have a ‘dirty’ one.

Tried looking for the Adam Smith biography in Waterstones. Wasn’t in the sport section. It was in true Crime between Lenny McLean and John Gotti. Both pussycats next to the big man.

Most promoters have a contract clause that allows them to terminate the contract if a boxer loses a fight. Some exercise this and some don't.

I couldn't say if Matchroom do have said clause, but if they do then they stuck with the likes of Wadi Camacho, Ryan Taylor etc longer than they were obliged to.
