Just an observation, but Tyson’s most offensive rant (about 40 minutes of Tyson lying on the couch grumpily moaning about Jews and transgender people) was filmed and posted by Peter, goading Tyson throughout, which i’m sure the big guy was well happy about. And both Tyson and Hughie’s “whole boar diet” i’m sure was part of Peter’s brilliant training methods.

I might be alone in thinking this, but Tyson could do worse than get the hell away from Peter. He’s got all the natural talent. And saying “peter’s the only one that can control him” is bollocks. Peter can’t control him. He couldn’t get him through a training camp without Tyson running off to go raving, actually posts the shit that upsets people on line making his nephew more unpopular, they eat a load of shit in that camp (baked potatoes and bread and stuff) obviously work hard but have terrible technique and form with their strength and conditioning, it’s a load of fat blokes training together and also the environment is full of drugs.

He looks happy in the gym at the moment. I think it’s a good move.

Peter Fury did well with Tyson, but I think training with someone else might do him good. If nothing else it might make it easier to avoid old habits and ending up back in the dark place.

Plus it might help him improve his offense a bit, and if he can do that while keeping his awkward defense, it could really take him up another level.

I agreed with a lot of the other stuff, but "baked potatoes and bread and stuff" is perfectly fine. The anticarb stuff is just an internet warrior fad. it can help some people lose a bit of weight, but it's not going to help someone training twice a day, with a large endurance component. A lot of athletes train so much they can even get away with a bit of sugary shite

Nobody’s saying you can’t eat carbs if you’re training combat sports: you need them. But i’ve watched Fury training camp videos and he’s eating a plain baked potato with some tinned tuna in it. No vegetables, nothing nice. Fast release carbs, no flavour, boring. No wonder he goes nuts and pigs out on quality street between fights. You look at other boxers and MMA athletes and they’ve got fornicating sweet potato and broccoli, lean chicken, it looks tasty and healthy.

Anyway i’ve given up looking at Fury’s dreadful videos on Instagram of him miming Return of the Mack wrapped in the carcasses of 800 chinchillas but I do recall during one of his recent weight loss attempts him saying he had completely cut out carbs for several days. He’s not training to fight at the moment he’s training to shift his tremendous girth (and his Alan Partridge-esque “fat back”) so actually at this present time a bit of the Old Atkins might help do the trick.

I remember when that video came out wondering why on earth peter thought it a good idea to film it. You've got to be a real eedjit to think that it's a good way to manage a fighter to encourage then to go on a long winded homophobic rant.

ingle style actually suits his a lot. i wonder why he doesnt? although maybe having bjs and fury as mates in the same camp would cause them to distract each other,
