Lets' see if this is the old Spud.
Defintely not Froch 8)
Nicky Cook proabably..
I like the look of this lad but effing forotten his name.
Turn this into a quiz now, Starts with H, had about 3 fights.
A right handful, wasn't suited to amateurs due to the style he has.
I think he may have lost his 2nd fight.
Weight? pass, maybe middle

Garath Crouch is looking good, not the biggest puncher out there but has some very good moves, he's been matched well hasn't had to many soft touches. he's a lightweight.

Surely he's moved beyond the "prospect" tag now.Micky wrote:Nicky Cook is the Best British Prospect at the minute.... Great boxer.
Given I'm a West Country lad I'll be interested to see how Dan Guthrie from Yeovil gets on. He had a shaky start to his pro career, but seems to be settling down now. I know Tom Podmore rates him.

He had a very good result against Jamali last week - I would like to know more about that fight. Jamali has decent skills and size; Was it a KO, ref stoppage or a cut?Deserter wrote:Surely he's moved beyond the "prospect" tag now.Micky wrote:Nicky Cook is the Best British Prospect at the minute.... Just looked on BBN and it was J who covered the show - you got any further details on Guthrie - Jamali mate?TerribleTerry wrote:He had a very good result against Jamali last week - I would like to know more about that fight. Yeha George Hillyard, thanks.. So he's rough but I reckon I'm gonna like watching him in a Tony Sibson kinda way...johnswan1 wrote:Surely not Hillyard........!Roars Like Me wrote:Lets' see if this is the old Spud.

I saw his fight against Anthony Christopher, he seemed to be loading up a bit to much, but got the job done, but of course it is the start of his career and i think he was a bit over enthusiastic to impress his fans.RobD wrote:Does anyone here rate Gary Buckland?
So i'm sure he will improve over the next year, I'm not sure that he's a Light Welter though, i'd like to see if he could get down to Lightweight.
One to watch though.

shame his promoter can't even pronounce the WBC champ's name. bit embarrassing that he calls the guy "Takimoto"jamesmcdonnell wrote:Good call, but he's a more contender level that prospect now. Interesting to see what happens if he gets that title shot. Will he take it?Micky wrote:Nicky Cook is the Best British Prospect at the minute.... Great boxer.
