Framptons fight
agreed.
Donaire has decent name value to draw the fans out whilst Carl is waiting on the Selby/Warrington winner...

no.4 with the WBC.
Gary Russell Jr could be in Framptons cross hairs...

People talking about next fights.
Donaire is still more than capable of being a banana skin if Frampton is as poor as he was in his last fight.
Both are on the slide IMO. Donaire is further down the slide but his slide was longer.
I will probably be taking Donaire on points if I can get 3/1 or better.

okayish fight. donaire definitely a faded force although more interesting than some no name to be brought over as an easy win.

Donaire has shown he can be outboxed but Frampton will have to seriously watch out for that left hook.

I think its a good fight at this stage of Framptons career as he doesn't have a lot of top level fights left in him in my opinion, Donaire will ask some questions.

Likely to be a poor style match IMO. Both men like to counter and they will each respect the others punch.

Will this be another empty arena that has never sold out and nobody is interested in? Yes, OK Ed...

Someone mentioned having a bet on Donaire on points if they can get 3/1. Never mind that, you can get him at 5/1 just to win. I think Carl should have more than enough for this version of Nonito but given Frampton's last performance surely that represents value?

Been over to watch Frampton a few times at that venue and it's always been rocking.

Yes. Donaire probably has the biggest left hook in boxing still. Landing it is his problem. Years ago he had the speed to get to Frampton id say. Hes still a good thinking fighter but he plods around lately totally relying on his honey punch. Frampton wont take one chance in the fight.

I think Donaire will do well.. Frampton won't be as rusty as his last bout. He's train even better for this.

I still see a close bout. Frampton wins a decision..

I see it being a 115-113 or 116-112 type scorecard.. I expect some fans (unofficial scorers) to give the nod to Donaire.

Frampton isn't big or strong enough to be the man at feather.

He looked tiny compared to Garcia, people will point to the win against LSC but Cruz wasn't on his a game for that fight (issues outside the ring)

Selby is too big for him and so is Valdez.

Agree. He almost resembles a miniature David Hayes with his frame, small and bulky. Understand him moving up but I assume it's a money grab/retirement fund more than a rule the division thing.

Like this fight none the less though.
