In order to better help understand the better fighters of the season, I have tallied up the amount of World Championships won by each fighter to has ever been a World Champion.

World Championship count:
7 Sugar Ray Leonard

5 Harry Greb
5 Bob Fitzsimmons (Note 2 seen below)

4 Sugar Ray Robinson
4 Ezzard Charles (Note 2 seen below)
4 Carlos Monzon
4 Archie Moore (Note 1 seen below)
4 Stanley Ketchel (Note 1 seen below)

3 Marvin Hagler
3 Charley Burley

2 Mickey Walker
2 Bernard Hopkins
2 Freddie Steele

1 NP Jack Dempsey
1 Thomas Hearns
1 Holman Williams
1 Roy Jones Jr
1 Roberto Duran

A quick notes from the above stats:

Note 1.
In Week 23, Harry Greb won the Million Dollar Tournament and became Undisputed World Champion by winning the final and bringing all 4 World Championships together. That was a great achievement.

However, Archie Moore (week 24) and Stanley Ketchel (week 27) only collect their 4 World Championships by a single win. That devalues their achievement because it was not their achievement to bring all four belts together.

Note 2.
In week 16, Ezzard Charles beat Sugar Ray Robinson and took three of the belts off him. It was SRR's achievement to bring three of the belts together, Charles had a single victory and got three World Championships for it.

Following on from that lineage, Fitzsimmons took the 3 belts off Charles - it was only a single victory for three belts.
This devalues Ezzard Charles & Fitzsimmons numbers on that list, because they succeeded off someone else's back, who did the hard work for them to be so high on our list.

So with that picture more clearly painted, my last pick goes to Charley Burley.

A man who won Three World Championships off his own bat - with three great wins.
(Just like Marvin Hagler did)

And if I'm voting Marvin, I'll vote Charley.

Thanks to Mr 'Geto & Mr Fist for conforming their picks.

We only await Buzz & P4P1 now, but it does look like The Super Six is taking shape.

it was tough to pick between EC, BF, CB and SK but I chose Ketchel because he was so low in the rankings half way through the season no one could have thought he'd finish in the top 10, Burley probably was better but I think Ketchel really has one hell of a season since he like to show up undertrained and overweight for a lot of his fights.

Agreed. It's a tough shout this year. So many fighters have done moderately well and are of similar stature.
But those who don't make it into The Super Six, will gain entry into the Silver Six.

Only six more points to be added to our board before it is completed...

7 votes - Sugar Ray Leonard
7 votes - Carlos Monzon
7 votes - Sugar Ray Robinson
5 votes - Mickey Walker
As such, we can say for definite that these five men will compete in this season's SUPER SIX.

One of this quartet will take the final Super Six slot.

Ketchel has the upper hand by being ahead of the other three. But there is still two Managers left to vote.
If we assume that Buzz picks the top 4 (as is probable) then he will only have a single pt left.

Only a few hours remaining gents!!!
