Andy Lee - saw a segment about the Kronx gym and Andy Lee was working out with Manny, he looked so fluid on the bag.

Guess it is variable. You could still be a prospect if you are young and have had 20 fights against weak opposition I guess.

But yeah, generally I think it would be once you've raised your game to at least an area belt or something!

that southpaw welter that hennessey has signed- think it's john o'donnell - looks pure class to me. so does amir khan, although that's a bit obvious. kell brook is also quality when in shape but god knows what's going on with him and dave coldwell (any comment, boxing chat?)

if you want a dark horse there's another Ingle kid coming along nicely- Muhsen Nasser. A very fast southpaw. He's skilfull and incredibly fit and dedicated. He could shock a few in a year or so's time.

Hillyard and Sibson? Hillyard is a flash, arrogant twat who thinks he's better than he is. By the looks of him he doesn't like training because he shouldn't be the weight he is. Should one weight lighter.

Sibson was a very good fighter who lacked confidence.

Hillyard...domestic scene at best and forgotten in a few years.

Sibson...European class and fringe World class.

Sibson didn't lack confidence at all, he liked to bang away..

Coinfident bangers the pair of them...

I'm not even considering Hillyard to get as far as Sibbo, i was just saying he reminded me of him, that's all.

john murray is improving all the time ,sensible level headed lad and a good up and coming trainer in joe gallagher,think he can go far.andy morris is not a prospect now but will go a lot further than his british belt

Dan Guthrie. The lad didnt start of too well- drawing and losing early on, but he is a former ABA champion, with sound skills and more importantly the lad can really hit- the kid could drop a mule!

He is fighting decent fighters for the stage of his career. The fight after the loss to Da Silva, Guthrie was guilty of being a tad gun-shy, but it was a physcological hurdle, which he has cleared now.

Jamali was beat by a cut, but by all accounts was taking a pasting and looking for a way out. Dan hurt Jamali on numerous occasions (Jamali is better than the 8-3 record he owns. He deserved to beat Carl Froch as an amatuer and is really tough, with an iron chin).

Mark Phillips has only been stopped twice in his career, once by light-heavyweight Steve Spartacus and by Dan Guthrie. I think that Dan has a big future.

Andrew Murray, as TerribleTerry said. He looks like he could be going places. Fighting Silence Saheed in your 3rd fight is a tough propostition, but too beat him emphatically shows he must have some class. A lot of boxers are reluctant to go near him after 15+ fights. Recently he drew with returning Leo'O'Reilly!.

I could list more, although i won't bore you!

With all due respect to Guthrie he was one of the most average ABA champions in recent years.
I've seen nothing to sugest that he'll go anywhere as a pro.
However, good luck to him, I could be wrong.
