Crolla didn't want the fight. Not bullshit, this is straight from Crolla.
Why?
Scared of losing? He's lost enough times before.
Scared of getting hurt? Unlikely - Flanagan isn't some monster is he.
Wanted an easier fight? The guy has taken on Linares in back to backs who's clearly a harder prospect than Flanagan.
Money? Even with it being an in house fight surely he could do more against Flanagan than Burns?
Crolla wanted to fight Linares instead, which was also for the vacant Ring Magazine title.
Then obviously the rematch too.
Fair enough Crolla to go after a bigger fight than Flanagan (which Linares obviously was) but that still doesn't mean it's a fight that cannot be arranged.
Hatton going after Mayweather instead of Witter was understandable but your career is a lot more than one fight.

I would like to see Crolla/Flanagan. Big fight for Manchester, even though Flanners is much less known here.
I'm not sure when the last time Matchroom/Queensberry co-promoted a card.
