Alrededor de las 3:00 de la mañana de este domingo 31 de diciembre, el boxeador Orlando "Siri" S. R., fue detenido por elementos de la policia municipal de Cajeme, cuando bajo los efectos de las bebidas alcohólicas propició un zafarrancho en el antro denominado Bar La Katrina, generándose un fuerte despliegue policial para su arresto.
El incidente se produjo por la avenida Miguel Alemán entre Guerrero e Hidalgo, en el Centro de la ciudad.
Testigos en el lugar de los hechos señalaron que el pugilista inicialmente escenificó un escándalo al sostener una riña con una persona del sexo femenino.
Al arribar elementos de la Policía Municipal se entrevistaron con los encargados del negocio y luego le pidieron al excampeón mundial que se retirara del establecimiento, debido a que ya cerrarían.
Sin embargo se negó hacerlo por lo que fue sometido y arrestado.
Posteriormente a la Jefatura de Policía Municipal acudió el gerente del antro y afirmó que a causa del violento hecho que provocó destrozos además de que numerosos clientes atemorizados abandonaron el lugar sin pagar su consumo en el lapso de las 23:00 horas del sábado a las 3:00 de la mañana del domingo, asegurando que este monto asciende a 72 mil 500 pesos.
El representante del local fue orientado para que acudiera a interponer formal denuncia en la Agencia del Ministerio Público Especializado en Querellas por el delito de abuso de confianza.
En tanto que “el Siri” que dijo vivir en la colonia Nueva Palmira quedó recluido en las celdas por faltas al Bando de Policía y Buen Gobierno.

loma obviously learned from it, and i mean it was his 2nd pro. even fighters with big amateur backgrounds typically arent close to fully developed pros after 1 fight.

now he reacts almost immediatly to anything close to low and will foul back. kellerman asked him in an interview why he does this stuff now but didnt during the salido fight and he said 'this is experience'

That's just speculation. You don't know what the referee would have done.

Salido wasn't DQ'd.

Maybe the ref would have brought them together, warned them that they'll both be tossed if it continues, and ordered them to fight on.

But overall, it didn't seem the ref was too adverse to a chippy bout.

I think Lomachenko returning any low blows in kind is a solid suggestion.

True professionals wouldn't hesitate.

It would have shown Salido and his corner that Lomachenko was not the genteel European style amateur they were counting on.

The low blows were an obvious pre-fight strategy to throw Lomachenko off his game.

An introduction to Boxing 101. Salido wasn't going to win an amateur style fencing match, so he brilliantly went the roughouse route, which Lomachenko wasn't prepared for.

Lomachenko probably would say thanks to Salido for that early professional education.

He learned a ton in just 12 rounds.
