Tyson Fury issues challenge

What is the likelihood Joshua will oblige? If AJ did commit to this challenge do you think Tyson Fury would stick to his challenge and fight Joshua in his first fight back?

Its an interesting challenge but in reality is it just bullshit talk?

Tyson is playing a very good game, his future is still uncertain and by getting a war of words going he creates publicity and exposure that the BBBoC can not ignore. For the very best revenue though Tyson needs to fight some of the other contenders to create a buzz of anticipation. People outside of boxing think Joshua will beat him easily, so he needs to show the fight is worth watching.

Tyson needs to first take on some of the known names like Dillian White, Chisora, Pullev or even a fight with Bellew. If he did this he would raise his profile and prove to the public that a fight with Joshua is not just to see Tyson shut up for good. I am a Tyson fan, I have had struggles with mental Health and know how challenging life can be, let alone one in the public eye with so much pressure. Joshua remains the people champion but Tyson is the threat, I think has hold more danger and hunger than any other challenger.

lets hope this fight happens at some point!

AJ would be an idiot to agree to fight Fury. He has his windows to have fights and set up the huge logistics to have them organised, I would not waste all those resources on a fight which would fall through and end up having to cancel or fight another stand-in.

The onus is on Fury to prove he can get in shape and actually adhere to a plan and fight date first surely. THEN if he does that, we can start calling this out.

I don't think Fury has the resolve to do the hard miles necessary to earn a genuine shot and I think he knows it.

He'll trip up against a lesser opponent and that'll be it..... he's just not the sort to be motivated by long term goals anymore and I don't think we'll ever see him thoroughly prepared and fully fit for a fight. He'll rely on his skill and size and it won't be enough by a long way.

He's hoping his smack talk will entice Joshua to giving him a shot which he either wins and gets a short cut to the top, or more likely he gets a lucrative pay day.

I'd love to see him hit the road, get fit and beat some solid fighters to earn a shot....... less gabbin, more graftin!!!

Thats a win win for Fury if AJ accepts. If he wins great, if he losses he will say he was rusty and should've had warm up fights.

If I where AJ, I would tell Tyson that he only needs to beat one of AJ his past 5 active opponents convincingly and offer to face him if he does.

It's a big money fight. Anthony should take this now before Fury gets back to fighting shape.

He could beat Molina, Martin, and Breazeale now, all on the same night.

Takam is decent, but Fury would ruin him if he was half way in shape

Weren't Fury and Takam meant to have had some closed door fight before the Chisora rematch?

I’m sick to death of Fury I really am- why anybody pays him even the slightest bit of notice is just bizzare IMO.

Fury would say exactly the same things if he wasn't a traveller. Says what he likes about gays, women, Jews and so on - you'll defend it all as banter. Say something as above - not on. Pathetic.

If you ever get far enough to fill in a job application form, you'll see there's a very clear box for British Irish in ethnicity and Catholic in religion.
