He's always looked older than he is tbf. Being massively overweight and unfit won't help that.

Then I'm never going to respect him.
Fair enough. You do realise Josh and his whole family are 1 million times worse when it comes to gays? Even the nicest Nigerian you'll ever meet will feel that way.
Even the gay ones?
They are the worst!

Big question marks over why he's still so obviously fat despite starting training so long ago. Remember the videos with him jogging in Spain with Saunders? They must be six months old.

He seems to need to keep repeating the same things to motivate himself but it's not working by the look of things. He looks miles away from being able to just fight anyone never mind stepping straight in with Joshua.

BJS looked very sharp in the clips I saw. Obviously he's going to having just boxed but it's brilliant he's even out there. His head is totally in the game.

Typical cherry picking religious nutcase. Uses his religion when it suits and ignores all the stuff he doesn't like.

I mean, Mick's very keen to defend a guy saying obviously nonsensical claptrap because it's his religion. I wonder how he'd react to Anthony Small following the word of his holy book by telling him he's going to hell because he drinks a bottle of vodka every day for his breakfast?
And again with the cracks about booze. Make you feel big does it, trying to needle a bloke about his admitted addiction? Make you feel big, does it, that little victory on the internet?

I have to really question the bitterness and mean spirit of someone who repeatedly, again and a fvcking gain, likes to make those sort of sneers.

You really are a vindictive little cuntsnide.
He's defending a guy, repeatedly, who thinks being gay is the equivalent of sexually abusing children. I don't care in the slightest if he feels bad about a few cracks about him being a pisspot.
And who the f*ck said I feel bad about any of your crap jibes? Just a very respected poster saw straight you and now you're at it again....

The problem Tyson has is that he hasn't had a fight for 26 months, has lost all of his bargaining power, no titles, draws average crowds and is living off one world class win in one of the worst world title fights I have ever seen.

He's at his managers (who's worth hundreds of millions) gym with his pal who's just defended his world title and they're both looking at huge money fights in the near future. It's hardly a gamble for Kinihan to let them train.

Nope, it was just tippy tap stuff, because it was an "event" it kept you captivated but doubt anyone has watched it again since, you have to do a lot more than that to "school " someone

But that's the problem, he has huge bargaining power. Everyone regards him as the real champ. Hearn will even admit this.

How long does he have to be out of the ring for him not to be the real champ?

Besides there hasn't been a real champion since Lewis as nobody has unified the WBC/WBA/IBF titles in that time.

No - Fury caught Wlad on a bad day and did enough to win a close but clear fight.

Calzaghe schooled Lacy, Mayweather schooled Canelo, Hopkins schooled Pavlik. Saunders recently schooled Lemieux. There are loads of examples. Fury Wlad doesn't fit that category at all.

People who don't know boxing won't see what Tyson did. That was a ten times better Wlad than AJ faced. He simply wasn't allowed to get anything off because he wasn't clever enough. It might have been dull on the telly, but it was great to be at one of the greatest wins ever on foreign soil.

everyone beleves furys the real champ? frst off most casuals dont second off many or even most hardcores dont because he last fought 2015 and were at 2018

guy needs to actually fght and be actve to be the champ. compare what ajs done since fury last fought in 2015. wlad carlos whyte breazelae molina and martin. thats at least 4 top 10 opponents he stopped.

one performance only gets you so far for so long. stupid to act as if furys the man when he has 0 fghts snce 2015 and aj has all those guys and by stoppage.

Nonsense,Wlad didn't throw anything against Fury with any bad intentions,it was the one of the most boring fights in history, yes Tyson had a game plan and it worked perfectly, but to say Wlad was so much better then than versus Aj is wrong.

It was a cack fight which was panned on here which is a forum dominated by people who do actually know about boxing.

Odd to think a bloke like yourself needs to pretend he sees something in a fight everyone else misses to 'prove' his knowledge to anonymous people on the internet. Clearly very jealous of the fact that Joshua has become some massive megastar whilst Fury has only been developing the size of his gut.

The forum has gone down the pan recently. It was a much better version of Wlad. Tyson offset everything he did. Odd for you to think everyone on here is anonymous to me? I have close friends on here, plus guys I've come across in the boxing business.

Think about it objectively if you can for a moment. Why do you think so many people don't think it's a masterclass? And why do you think so many people who reported on the fight live had it very close by the end when in fact it was an obvious display of genius?

It's a classic case of an outsider getting an upset win and that win being turned, over time, into something it plainly wasn't. As I've said many times before on here, if kids used to get into boxing watching Eubank, Benn and Naz they sure as hell aren't getting into it watching Tyson Fury flap around and stare at his opponent.

I find it hard to believe some people actually fail to give Fury great credit for the way he beat Wlad. He went into his back yard and totally befuddled and bemused him. Beat him at his own game behind the jab. No-one had ever before or since done that to Wlad. The only way he'd been beaten before is being outgunned and overwhelmed, never outboxed. The reason Wlad couldn't get anything off was because he could never get in range due to Fury's movement and was clearly worried about taking any chances.

Compare that to Joshua's display. Yes, it was a cracking fight but Joshua was very very lucky to get through that without being stopped. He was gone in both the 5th and 6th and Wlad just didn't take enough chances to get him out of there. One more shot and it would have been game over.

I think Fury does need to have a couple of warm up fights before getting in with Joshua. Clearly there will be ring rust and against a guy who hits as hard as Joshua you just can't go in there without being at or very near the top of your game. However were the Fury who beat Wlad to fight any version I've seen of AJ, I think that provided Fury gets through the first 3 or 4 rounds the fight is his. He's a miles better boxer, bigger, has a better jab, quicker feet, defensively much better and in my view is stronger mentally. Clearly AJ has a punchers chance but that's about it if they are both at the top of their games.
