Gary was ABA flyweight champion in 1978 but didn't perform in the Commonwealth Games that year and turned pro with Terry Lawless before eventually switching to F rank Warren. Good fighter but lack of power ultimately held him back.

Mark Prince lectures in schools and other places on the effects of knife crime. His son Kiyan was died several years ago after being the victim of a knife attack. Mark is a true inspiration.

I sat next to Gary at the Eubank-Benn classic in Birmingham in 1990. I wonder if he's lost his baby face yet?

Haha yea I wonder if he has, I bet he looks the same, someone on here knows him well. He was a good trainer too, sounds like he is not involved in the sport anymore which is a shame
