Lack of power did hold him back, but good fighter and good to watch too,

Some Ex Pros from Hartlepool and their current work situation

George Feeney is a taxi driver
John Feeney has had a multitude of jobs but is currently not working due to ill health
Dave Garside has a Security business (amongst others)
James Rooney is a Cable digger - decent money as he is paid by the metre
Ian Cooper works as a Rigger offshore
Shaun Biff Armstrong works as an Asbestos stripper

I sat next to Gary at the Eubank-Benn classic in Birmingham in 1990. I wonder if he's lost his baby face yet?

Haha yea I wonder if he has, I bet he looks the same, someone on here knows him well. He was a good trainer too, sounds like he is not involved in the sport anymore which is a shame
