Shane Mosley Vs Pernell Whitaker @ 135
How do you see this going ? I actually would go for Mosley who was a beast at light weight I'll probably be in minority but Shane was very fast at 135 with real power.

Tough fight but my nod goes to Sweet Pea.
At his best Whitaker was untouchable. His defense negates Mosley's power.
And Shane was never the most difficult guy to hit.
A close fight through 6, but as Mosley begins to get frustrated and leaves openings, Whitaker counter punches with precision and walks away with a close unanimous decision.

I always thought Whitaker's defence overrated ,he did get hit buddy mcgirt landed loads on him especially the straight right .of course he was very good but he wasn't unhittable and he didn't counter after say like Floyd did .SenorPipino wrote: ↑28 Dec 2017, 16:01 Tough fight but my nod goes to Sweet Pea.

Another guy who hit Whitaker a lot was Azumah Nelson.... He had Sweet Pea hanging on and grabbing his legs -- which the referee ignored.... De La Hoya beat Whitaker handily and Mosley does a better job.... Duran takes him out.

Pernell decisions Shane 8-4.
