I expect Ortiz to get more attention, but if Wilder doesn't dare to fight him, and already knows a trick how to avoid him again, they will probably get less and less people watching and even the guy who's reputation is completely ruined in America will probably receive more people watching as the guy who only accepts fakefights.

Hey are you aware that Ortiz and his team took blame on themselves when the first fight between them was ruined?

His promoter posted it on twitter and even said "sorry" to his fans ..

Are you aware of the fact this team was challenged and selected because of this fact and solely on this fact? Do you want to fight Whyte for 5 mil? Nonono, 7mil! And even if you pay that I still want some excuse to stay out! Ortiz is the highest ranked guy out there where he knew something about that would give Wilder attention, but didn't actually have to get in the ring with and Wilder and his team knew that.

He didn't take the Whyte fight because Hearn promotional options on his next several fights. Wilder can just wait for a purse bid and not have to give up promotional control.

Hearn didn't demand promotional options if Wilder took the Whyte fight.
