Sorry.

It's on SHOWTIME.

But at least you don't have to dole out PPV money.

Since then, he has jumped up to fight better opposition twice and lost both times. Against Garcia, Peterson spent most of the fight not engaging until it was too late.

The knock on Peterson, even from his trainer, is that he's soft. Too soft hearted to be a killer in there. Spence will win this fight by knockout. No doubt in my mind. Peterson is highly overrated.
First of all, LP is not an admitted PED user. He had a sample test positive, yes. His high levels of testosterone were proven to be consistant for theraputic use, and not performance enhancing. Khan's people even had their own doctor check into it.
Secondly, I have never heard his trainer say he is soft, not that he couldn't, but maybe did to motivate him. LP is a gym rat, and pushes everyone he has fought, and always gives it his all.
Good read if you want to know a little more about Lamont Peterson: It talks about a lot of things, including his PED test.

Please tell me that you're joking. My God, can we stop making excuses for these athletes that get caught with their hands in the candy jar already? It was TESTOSTERONE, dude. If you are an athlete that agrees to take something to boost your testosterone levels without getting approval first...YOU ARE DIRTY. Plain and simple.

What a pathetic article that once again tries to bail out a cheater who made a horrible decision that negatively affected his career. They are a dime a dozen these days. Be smarter.

I don't have to make excuses for him. I doubt you read the article, or you would realize that Khan's people looked into it as well, and only found proof for therapeutic use. Do I believe he has never took PEDS? Hell, I think most of them have at one time or another. It is the stupid ones that get caught.
His case is similar to Ortiz's recent case, where they failed to disclose a doctor prescribed dose that is otherwise illegal to do. Since Peterson is the one that requested random blood testing, I really doubt that he would jeopardize getting a big fight cancelled on purpose. He (and his team) were just stupid.

But Spence is on another level and is only going to get better.

He just has too many tools for Peterson to overcome.

This will go rounds. Maybe it goes the full 12.

But I see Spence slowly carving up Peterson. Too much speed. Too much power. Too much accuracy.
Agree with most of your take. To me the only question is whether Spence can stop Lamont or win a lopsided decision and I think Peterson is durable enough to last the full 12!!
