Joseph Parker's manger David Higgins has met with Eddie Hearn. The meeting lasted 3 hours.

Higgins commented afterwards : "We've had a very productive session, a very constructive meeting. We are heading in the right direction. It's not signed yet, we still have some outstanding issues. But we are getting closer and closer."

"Effectively this is a co-promotion partnership, worth upwards of $40 million turnover. People wonder why this takes so long but it's such a big one-off event there is so much to look at," Higgins said.

Millennium stadium is far easier to get to than Wembley.

For wembley you habe to get into london tjen on the right tube to end up one of the 3 tubes nearby. It has very few bars and pubs near it, so you end up on wembley way paying a fortune for food.

In cardiff, tou get the train to cardiff central and it is right in town, so there are plenty of pubs and bars, plus all the normal food outlets so saves you a bit of cash.

If the undercard is underwhelmimg, you can stay outside in a nearby pub, whereas at wembley the vast majority of fans will be insife by the 2nd to last undercard fight.
Gotcha. Thanks Mate. I was thinking views of the fight, not the piss up before/after
The view will be not the best at either ground unless your ringside or middle tier
That's what the big screens are for. I watched Lewis Klitschko and kind of split between the two. And that's a much smaller venue.

I was properly nosed up though

I guess it is a one off event (for Parker) as its not often you get a golden goose who can fill Wembley stadium.

The undercard will be key for you then, fingers crossed it will be decent.

Hopefully I’ll be getting first dibs on tickets again as the missus works for Principality so should get priority.

You would expect Córdina, Buatsi, Maybe Okolie If unscathed on 2nd Feb, Kal Yafai, Buglioni/Johnson.
Maybe Josh Kelly as no North East Card mentioned.

Whyte/Browne at o2 week before (24th) so you would expect O’Hara/Benn on that Card. That will need 7-8 fights for that card.

Katie Taylor/Dublin 10th April - mainly made up with Irish fighters you’d expect.

Khan is 21st and will need 7-8 fights.

I reckon this fight will go the distance. I see it as an 8-4 or so win for Joshua - and then many will scream "HE'S OVER-RATED" even though they're the ones who were over rating him

He wasn’t big enough or skilled enough to make a larger, negative opponent actually fight, however I don’t see AJ refusing to engage.
I expect a stoppage as that’s far more likely between two boxers who are trying to win rather than one trying to win and one trying to ‘not lose’ and one would expect Joshua to win but whomever wins, I don’t think it will be points.

I actually think this will be a good scrap while it lasts. I think AJ will get rid of Parker eventually but Parker does look like he has a decent chin. Hopefully we get a decent ref who doesn't shoot his bolt too early like the Takam fight.
