Parker vs Joshua - announcement expected Jan 12th

Post by Like a Boss »

Josheph Parker and Anthony Joshua are set to meet in a unification showdown on March 31 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

Parker and his manager David Higgins are in the UK sorting out the final details of a deal with Eddie Hearn. It is expected the bout will be formally announced on Friday January 12, in London.

The event will be broadcast on Sky Sports Box Office.

Cardiff stadium offers an 80,000 capacity and importantly has a roof.

Will be a nice payday for Parker, but I somehow doubt he's gonna take it.

Why, He obviously thinks he can win it or at least be very competitive. I tend to agree.

Thanks for putting the video up Like a Boss. I enjoyed that interview more than any other I have seen for a long time. Good to see someone in the sport with brains and a bit of dash.

Joshua has been knocked out before so it’s not going to be a new experience for him . However I feel bad for his fans

I don't think that he won't be competitive, or that he can't take it, I just doubt he will. I think Joshua is a better boxer. However I will be putting money on a Parker KO - but I also think that is the most likely way he'll win, if he does cause the upset.

I certainly hope he thinks he can win/be competitive, otherwise it's not a good idea to take it.

Joe is telling the world that he will KO Joshua.
Talk.s cheap especially from a guy with zero defence.
Lots of luck Joe you're going to need it.

Betting on boxing isn't usually my thing. But l know value when l see it. $9.50 in a 2 horse race like this is generous and worth a nibble.

Some people have gotten all excited slagging Higgins off as some kind of idiot without having listened to him. It has been all very convenient for the English press to bag him. But the reality is he is a pretty sharp operator.

This will be a tough fight for Parker. He keeps talkng about a KO but his past few bouts havent been helping his claims. We keep hearing him & Barry saying “you will see a different Parker in this fight” but have yet to see this take effect.

I hope I am wrong but I cant see JP coming out victorious.

Joshua points or late stoppage.

It is obvious you have already made up your mind Parker can't win. So l am not going to waste my time trying to convince you otherwise.
