I'm no lawyer, because I have friends, but can someone explain what this means in simple terms please?
Is he trying to wind down the company? Or just some assets?
I think he is trying to shut the company down as he can’t pay the bills but someone who he owes money to is stopping him from doing that at the moment.

Thank you for that Joe :TU:
I hope it's not the end for Hennessey. Even if they stick to smaller shows in future, it's good for boxing. Eddie can't have all the pie

The trouble with boxing promotion is that there aren't that many people involved. Hennessy wasn't some small fry promoter. In recent years he had Froch, Murray, DeGale, Fury and plenty of other quality names.

People talk about Hearn like he's had it all handed to him but just look what he did with Crolla, Froch and Bellew compared to how they were promoted previously.

Hennessy just appears a nice guy but a terrible businessman. The Hughie Parker fight was absolutely always going to be a complete disaster.

spot on

Not sure how it will end up Kiwi, looking at companies house today and seeing it’s his 4th time he has shut a company down in what looks like a similar manner it doesn’t look good for him, really cant see how he will be allowed to open up another company. Time will tell.

It’s going to be interesting over the coming months to see what the Tyson and Hughie do and who they go with, will they stick with Hennessey, or will they move on, but i feel we wont see Hennessey promoting a large arena show ever again.
